En el pintoresco pueblo de Dolores, Guanajuato, un cura visionario con nombre de arcángel, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, tomó una decisión que haría temblar al Virreinato entero. No fue una llamada a misa dominical, aunque terminó siendo un sermón con repercusiones cósmicas. amor por la cocina viene de cuna. “Desde niña mi mamá me enseñó a cocinar. Gracias al apoyo de mis padres, me incliné por lo primero. No es solo fútbol, también hay natación, básquet, artes marciales… todas son medicinas para una vida sana. Sport transforms lives. I come from a poor family, with parents who only studied up to sixth grade. For me, there were only two paths: sport or getting lost on the streets. Thanks to my parents' support, I chose the former. It's not just soccer, there's also swimming, basketball, martial arts... all of which are medicine for a healthy life.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you remember that moment?
Recuerdo claramente mi inexperiencia, la novatez y los nervios. Había muchísima gente y, claro, me sentí intimidado. Pero también fue el inicio de un sueño. / I clearly remember my inexperience, my novice status, and my nerves. There were a lot of people, and of course, I felt intimidated. But it was also the beginning of a dream.
¿Cómo fue crecer con la leyenda de Blue Demon como padre y como guía? ¿En algún punto, la máscara pesó más emocional que físicamente? / What was it like growing up with the legend of Blue Demon as your father and mentor? At any point did the mask weigh more emotionally than physically?
Para mí, era simplemente mi papá. Tuve una infancia increíble. Él me preparó muy bien para lo que venía. El peso emocional vino cuando presté atención a las críticas de los haters. Pero cuando decidí enfocarme en lo mío y dejar eso atrás, fue cuando todo despegó. / For me, he was just my dad. I had an incredible childhood. He prepared me very well for what was to come. La historia de La Chinesca comenzó a finales del siglo XIX, cuando inmigrantes chinos llegaron a Mexicali para trabajar en la construcción del ferrocarril y en los campos del Valle del Río Colorado.
