JCB APPRENTICESHIPS We are always on the lookout for apprentices to join the team at C&P! JCB, in partnership with Reaseheath College, is the starting point to begin your career as a specialist trained agricultural technician. On this course you will study to achieve the qualification of LandBased Service Engineering Technician in Agricultural Engineering combining both classroom and workshop training with practical, work-based development to lay the foundations of a successful career. What will I study? • Environmental, safe working and legal requirements • Use of specialist tools and equipment • Thermally and chemically joining metals and components • Advanced technical and engineering principles of land-based engineering machinery, plant and equipment • Service, maintenance and repair principles and practices for complex machinery, plant and equipment • Accessing, interpreting and applying technical data
AGRICULTURAL/ CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERS Clarke & Pulman Ltd are currently seeking experienced Agricultural/ Construction Engineers to strengthen their team. It is of high importance that the candidate has previous experience as an Agricultural/ Construction Engineer. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of customer machinery. You will be expected to work on a variety of machinery, including Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Valtra, JCB, Kverneland and Honda. To maintain the company’s current high standard, you will have the opportunity to attend manufacturers training courses on a regular basis. You will also work alongside our very knowledgeable service team. As you will be working on and off site you will need to be very well presented and have impeccable customer service skills.
• Diagnosing faults and verifying machinery • Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications How long will it take? 24-36 months (block release) What qualifications do I need to start? • Preferably 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths • Good understanding of IT systems • Entry assessment to be completed What qualifications will I gain? • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Land-Based Service Engineering Technician Why Clarke & Pulman?
