‘Evidential Inspiration’ at VUU
Church celebrates Easter, hosts egg hunt
A free program with science-based speaker the Rev. Michael Dowd will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tues., April 29, at Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 6400 W. Del Rio St., Chandler. “Evidential Inspiration and Realistic Hope,” geared for adults and teens, expands on material in Dowd’s bestselling, bridge-building book, “Thank God for Evolution: How the Marriage of Science and Religion Will Transform Your Life and Our World,” endorsed by six Nobel laureates and other science luminaries, including noted skeptics and atheists, and by religious leaders across the spectrum.
