The Art of Change

WELCOME TO THE REIMAGINED RITZ-CARLTON, NAPLES

When done well, change is like great art. It evolves, inspires and revolutionizes. That’s what we hope our reconceptualized Ritz-Carlton, Naples has done for our community and our guests. With new and expanded offerings throughout the resort, Ritz-Carlton, Naples gives today’s luxury traveler stunning new spaces that inspire unforgettable journeys.

Of course, our changes are built on the foundations laid more than four decades ago, when the resort was opened in the quiet seaside town of Naples. Many in the industry scratched their heads at the decision — there was little here that would warrant such a move. At least, that’s what those without vision believed.

We saw a community of people with hearts as big and inviting as the beauty of their surroundings. Florida’s Paradise Coast was raw, almost quaint, but with its white sand beaches and its warm, welcoming community, its potential as a premier travel destination was as clear as the pristine waters that lapped its shores. Embracing The Ritz-Carlton code of giving back to the communities in which we operate, we soon found that the locals embraced us in return.

The resort and the community grew together, year by year, decade by decade, valued guest by valued guest.

Today, we are proud to be such an integral part of the community which we serve, with our Ladies and Gentlemen striving to improve guest and local experiences alike every day. It is our inspiration for the remastering of our resort. And this transformation is nothing short of magical.

It literally begins with guests’ first steps into the hotel, with a lobby experience that has been completely reconceived. Open and expansive, bright and inviting, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples lobby is both a place of wonder and a true gathering place, with a new Lobby Bar featuring nearly 60 selections from our Master Sommelier, small bites including oysters and caviar, crispy tuna and wagyu truffle sliders with gold leaf, and classic cocktails. The new Lobby Bar features a dazzling floating light installation, an homage to the resort’s legacy and showcase chandeliers. Featuring a grand wall of windows allowing in the amber hues of the Gulf during sunset, the redesigned lobby and Lobby Bar serve as the perfect introduction to travelers’ upcoming adventures.

WE HOPE

THAT THE TRANSFORMED RITZ-CARLTON, NAPLES INSPIRES

YOUR JOURNEY, WITH DAZZLING NEW ELEMENTS AND A STORIED TRADITION OF SERVICE IN THIS OCEANFRONT PARADISE.

Our pool experience has also been greatly enhanced, with separate adult, lap and family pools and 20 new poolside cabanas and bungalows. Each bungalow offers a fully-enclosed poolside oasis, with butler service, private bathrooms, service bars, and televisions, all in air conditioned comfort. The open-air cabanas boast push seating, ceiling fans, televisions, and butler service.

Of course, one of the foundations of any great travel experience is dining, and visitors to the new Ritz-Carlton, Naples will have more choices than ever before. Whether it’s an elegant night out at The Grill, our premier steakhouse with an international wine list and intimate atmosphere, or a morning cup of coffee from Moka, where a third-generation roasting family hand-picks the beans, we are ensuring that every culinary experience is truly authentic. We now have offerings from around the globe to delight any taste: Sofra, our vegetable-forward Eastern Mediterranean restaurant; Dusk, a world-class sushi and sashimi experience; and Nolita, our New York Italian concept.

Because the pristine coastal waters are one of the biggest draws to Florida’s Paradise Coast, we have expanded our beach and ocean activities as well. Whether it’s meandering the newly constructed boardwalk, renting a wave runner or stand up paddleboard, or getting the ultimate coastal view during a boat or parasail adventure, we have virtually every option covered.

Similarly, we increased the number of suites; we now feature 92, many of them with three-bedrooms to accommodate multi-generational travelers. And of course, the brand new Vanderbilt Tower is an exclusive experience like no other. Featuring expansive ocean views, its own private bar and lounge area, personal butlers, and more, the Ritz-Carlton Club experience is like experiencing a luxury hotel within a luxury hotel.

We hope that the transformed Ritz-Carlton, Naples inspires your journey, with dazzling new elements and a storied tradition of service in this oceanfront paradise.

The Influence of an Icon

THE OPENING OF THE RITZ-CARLTON, NAPLES USHERED IN AN ERA OF GROWTH AND DISCOVERY CULMINATING IN THE PARADISE COAST

Since its founding in the 1860s, for most of the town’s existence, Naples remained hidden like some modern-day Shangri-La, its pristine beaches and crystal clear ocean unknown to most of the world. With a natural beauty that rivals any on earth, Naples remained a quaint, quiet town by the sea, waiting for its time to shine and grow.

That opportunity came in 1985 with the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. Much to the surprise of many luxury resort operators, The Ritz-Carlton chose Naples, not known as a luxury travel destination, for one of its first resorts on the East Coast. That set the stage for both The Ritz-Carlton and the community of Naples to together define and develop what would eventually be rightly heralded the Paradise Coast.

“The Ritz-Carlton, Naples has played a significant role in shaping the area and community of Naples,” explains Ritz-Carlton Area General Manager Mark Ferland. “Being the first resort in the Ritz-Carlton brand, it put Naples on the map as a leisure destination. Ever since, the resort has been a focal point of the Naples community, creating memorable experiences for both local and international guests.”

LUXURY THROUGH THE YEARS

1927

The Ritz-Carlton, Boston—the first Ritz-Carlton in America—opens and instantly sets the new gold standard for luxury hospitality with unprecedented customer service, innovative dining, and unparalleled attention to detail.

1983

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, formed, signaling a new era of expansion. The company footprint tripled in two years to include The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead; The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta; The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel; and The Ritz-Carlton, Naples.

1985

The Ritz-Carlton, Naples opened its doors, welcoming guests to stay more than 75,000 total nights in its first year of operation.

Indeed, the resort’s success and reputation have greatly influenced the growth and sophistication of Naples, attracting businesses, contributing to the local economy, and using its unique brand lens to preserve the natural beauty and vitality of the area.

Equally, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples’ bond with the community has meant that the local residents have had an equal influence in the growth and sophistication of the area.

One of the most important aspects of The Ritz-Carlton, Naples relationship with the local community is the brand’s dedication. “The resort’s dedication to giving back to the community aligns with the values of The Ritz-Carlton brand,” says Ferland. “It has a strong culture of philanthropy, focusing on children, hunger, and other community needs.”

The Ritz-Carlton, Naples’ success has given as much to the brand as it has to the people of Naples and the visitors who delight in the Paradise Coast experience, says Ferland. “As new Ritz-Carlton hotels emerged, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples became a reference point, setting the standard for other properties to emulate,” Ferland says.

To celebrate the strong bond between The Ritz-Carlton brand and the community of Naples, here are six key developments of the past four decades that helped the world discover what a special place Naples is, and why it is truly the Paradise Coast.

A NEW STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE:

The Grill at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples set the stage for an explosion in elevated dining experiences in Naples. With its elegant ambiance and refined cuisine, The Grill quickly became a sought-after destination for both locals and visitors alike. The restaurant showcased exquisite dishes prepared by skilled chefs, featuring a blend of international flavors and locally sourced ingredients. Its commitment to culinary excellence and impeccable service helped establish a new standard for fine dining in the area. The success of the eclectic mix of Ritz restaurants inspired an array of new upscale dining experiences, both inside and outside the resort. Recent examples include Sea Salt (2008), which utilizes a wide variety of artisan salts from around the world to enhance the flavors of its dishes; The Continental (2012), offering a contemporary upscale take on classic American cuisine; the rustic Osteria Tulia (2013), which embraced a farm-to-table philosophy to create authentic Italian dishes; and The French Brasserie Rustique (2016), with its emphasis on classic French flavors and techniques.

LUXURY THROUGH THE YEARS

2022

The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, on the forefront of luxury travel on Florida’s Paradise Coast for two decades, receives a fresh name that encompasses a broader resort experience: The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón.

2023

In July, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples unveiled a dramatic transformation including the addition of the new Vanderbilt Tower, which features an expansive new Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge and more than 70 club-level guestrooms, along with a new resort lobby, and three new dining experiences. The transformed resort also presents new outdoor spaces including new pools, bungalows, and cabanas along with extensive redesigns to all 474 guest rooms and suites.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARTS AND CULTURE

SCENE: Since the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, the destination’s arts and culture scene has flourished, with the establishment of prominent institutions such as Artis-Naples (formerly Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts). This venue hosts a variety of cultural events, including performances by worldclass musicians, theater productions, and art exhibits. The Baker Museum, opened in 2000 as part of the Artis-Naples complex, has featured exhibitions of renowned artists, collections of modern and contemporary art, and educational programs. Naples International Film Festival (NIFF), established in 2009, has grown to become a significant cultural event in the region, attracting filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts from around the world. These formal destinations and events have also inspired a vibrant public art scene, adding to the natural wonders of the area.

EXPANSION

OF SHOPPING EXPERIENCES: As Naples enjoyed greater status as a world-class travel destination, it has seen the steady expansion of upscale shopping and retail experiences. Waterside Shops offers a sophisticated outdoor shopping experience with a curated collection of luxury brands, elegant dining options, and beautiful surroundings. The Village on Venetian Bay, nestled along the waterfront, combines shopping, dining, and entertainment in a picturesque setting, making it a favorite destination for visitors seeking a unique retail experience. In addition, the revitalization of downtown resulted in Fifth Street South and Third Street South, the places to go for upscale fashion boutiques, fine jewelry and watches, art, dining and more. In North Naples, Mercado is known for its open-air shopping center featuring a mix of high-end retailers, specialty shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. These pedestrian-friendly destinations offer a rich and eclectic alternative to Naples’ more sandy and salty attractions.

ESTABLISHING NAPLES AS A WORLD-CLASS GOLF DESTINATION:

The debut of The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón and Tiburón Golf Club established Naples as a world-class golf destination. The Ritz-Carlton brand brought prestige and credibility, attracting high-profile guests and celebrities, as well as premier golf tournaments (including three televised professional tournaments annually, representing the PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour) gaining the area national attention. Featuring two championship golf courses designed by Greg Norman, known for their exceptional playing conditions and challenging layouts, a Golf Academy, fine dining and luxury accommodation, Tiburón Golf Club set the standard for five-star golf destinations. And indeed, Naples has grown into a favorite for golf enthusiasts, now boasting numerous worldclass courses and attracting players from around the globe.

CONSERVATION EFFORTS, ECOTOURISM AND EVERGLADES EXPLORATION:

A large part of the mission behind The Ritz-Carlton, Naples has been to not just celebrate and introduce the area’s natural beauty to the world, but also serve as a partner in the stewardship and preservation of the area’s incredible natural environment. Naples serves as a gateway to the Everglades, and over the past four decades, there has been a growing interest in ecotourism and Everglades exploration. Visitors can embark on airboat tours, swamp walks, wildlife spotting, and kayaking adventures, experiencing the unique and diverse ecosystems of the Everglades. At the same time, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples partners with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida as well as local and regional organizations to ensure the preservation of the environment for generations to come.

PARADISE FOUND

Although the exact year is debated, Naples was founded in the late 1880s by the arrival of two prominent figures, Walter Haldeman, a Kentucky newspaper publisher, and Joe Wiggins, a local landowner. Recognizing the potential of the region, Haldeman and Wiggins purchased large tracts of land in the area and began advertising it as a paradise with abundant natural beauty, showcasing its white sandy beaches, clear Gulf waters, and subtropical climate. They named it Naples due to its stunning waterfront location, pristine beaches, natural charm and mild climate, attributes that made Naples, Italy, so iconic.

The first hotel, the Naples Hotel, was built in 1888, and the first post office was established in 1889. The founders hoped to create an idyllic and attractive destination that would appeal to potential residents and visitors alike. While Naples did share some success, Haldeman and Wiggins’ vision would not be fully realized for more than a 100 years, when The Ritz-Carlton, Naples helped spotlight the town as a luxury destination. Today, Naples, Florida, is everything they dreamed it could be— complete with the moniker the Paradise Coast.

A PARTNER IN PRESERVATION

A Foodie’s Paradise

THE RITZ-CARLTON, NAPLES INVITES GUESTS ON A GLOBAL CULINARY JOURNEY THAT EXCEEDS THE EXPECTATIONS OF ANY PALATE

Dining is an important and often the best part of any vacation. Meals are where the anticipation of the day’s upcoming adventure is shared, or where the memories of the one just experienced are relived. And often, the meal itself is part of the exploration the thing that will be savored and remembered long after the photo album is shelved.

A MEMORABLE CULINARY JOURNEY AWAITS.

At The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, the importance of cuisine is well understood. It’s why our property houses eight restaurants and cafes, representing cuisine from around the globe and featuring only the best in culinary artists. “Our goal is to have a number of unique, memorable culinary experiences for our guests,” says The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Executive Chef Satish Yerramilli. “The diversity of experiences and styles offers a unique option for the entirety of your stay in Naples.”

Indeed, whether you’re craving an authentic Italian morning biscotti and macchiato, a burger, an elegant evening of Japanese sushi or an Eastern Mediterranean appetizer, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples has a restaurant for you. We invite you to explore the resort’s bars and restaurants so that you may select your next memorable experience. Bon appetit!

Rather than that after-dinner cappuccino or brandy, try something a little different: a caffè corretto. Translated as “corrected” coffee, this intoxicatingly delicious Italian favorite is a shot of espresso with a small amount of grappa poured in or served on the side. If late-night caffeine isn’t your style, it’s also a common post-lunch drink. The caffè corretto is a staple of authentic Italian streetside cafes and can be found at Moka.

LOBBY BAR

Bathed in the amber hues streaming in from the west-facing windows, the Lobby Bar celebrates Champagne, the drink that is synonymous with celebrations and special occasions. “The Lobby Bar is breathtaking for guests the moment they arrive,” says Chef Yerramilli. “The signature lighting installation pays homage to years of celebrations — and years of Champagne toasts — to The Ritz-Carlton.” An elegant space, Lobby Bar is dedicated to the iconic French Champagne houses, with dozens of selections curated by one of the world’s Master Sommeliers, Elise Lambert. The bar offers a la carte selections or, for a truly unforgettable evening, a Signature Tasting experience in which guests learn about the depth of each vintage, what to pair them with, what stemware to use, and a host of other fascinating facts. Lobby Bar also offers small bites, artisan cheeses, and classic cocktails, along with one of the most popular items: sliders, or “lil’ B’s,” ensuring its stature as a wonderful gathering place for all.

BORN TO BAKE

Executive Pastry Chef Lerome Campbell

Growing up in Jamaica, Executive Pastry Chef Lerome Campbell’s favorite after-school activity was to help his mother bake in her pastry shop. While his friends played sports or watched television, Campbell raced home to help create pastries and cakes and breads. A curious kid, his other hobby was taking apart the family’s electronics to see how things worked, from radios to refrigerators. “And 80% of the time I’d know how to put them back together,” Campbell says with his infectious laugh.

When he finished high school, his mother asked him what he wanted to do and, predictably, he said he wanted to go to culinary school. But because of his tinkering, she would only approve of it after he tried other things, to make sure he really

wanted to be a cook. He capitulated but hated everything he tried. He worked as a mechanic (“I smelled like grease all the time.”); a carpenter (“I was worried something would get cut off.”); an electrician (“Electrocution hurts.”); and a computer technician (“Boring.”). Finally, after those jobs and completing an art degree, Campbell received his mother’s blessing to attend culinary school. And he has never looked back.

A Food Network’s “Holiday Baking Championship” winner for his perfect tiramisu — which you can find on a few of the hotel’s restaurant’s menus — Campbell oversees all baked items at both The Ritz-Carlton, Naples and The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. With preparation needed for a dozen restaurants and signature events in the two resorts, it’s a job that might overwhelm many. But Campbell says his love for his craft, and his mother’s tutelage, keeps him calm in any situation. “You won’t see me stressed. It does no good,” says Campbell, as if stress under pressure was a choice. “It only makes things worse, which can only end in a bad experience for the guest, and that’s not acceptable.”

In fact, his devotion to his culinary art is matched only by his devotion to the guest experience. It’s summed up, he says, in a diner’s dessert choice, which he sees as a make-or-break moment. “Dessert is the last course of the day,” he says. “So, it has to be good. If they are disappointed in dessert, they’ll be unhappy with their entire day. That’s how I think. And I do not want to disappoint.”

“DESSERT IS THE LAST COURSE OF THE DAY. SO, IT HAS TO BE GOOD.”

DUSK

This elegant yet lively sushi bar is designed to bring a casual beachside twilight into a sophisticated evening setting. Dusk is the spot to go for a world-class sushi and sashimi experience, where thoughtfully curated Japanese whiskeys can be paired with the freshest fish, never more than 24 hours off the boat. “Everything is prepared and rolled in front of the guests,” says Chef Yerramilli.

So whether you are sitting at the sushi bar or a restaurant table, you’ll get an authentic experience. With its sleek decor and and inviting atmosphere, Dusk is also a premier cocktail lounge with an innovative drink menu that is the perfect place for a post-dinner libation. The seating is intimate, with softly lit private spaces. Dusk also boasts a beautiful terrace with lounge sofas and incredible ocean views.

SOFRA

Named after the Mediterranean concept of a shared table, Sofra celebrates that region’s eclectic food culture, rooted in fresh coastal seafood and spices with delicious nutritional-focused foods. A vegetable-forward experience that will still offer something for every member of the family, Sofra’s menu showcases authentic ingredients and baked breads found in Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, and Israel, in a contemporary style. During the day, enjoy “fununder-the-sun” Mediterranean bistro fare, from a mouth-watering cheeseburger or buttermilk fried chicken sandwich to a zucchini burger or Mediterranean vegetable or triple cheese panini. “We start baking the bread after you sit down, so it comes to you piping hot,” says Chef Yerramilli. Following that, Chef Yerramilli suggests one of their most popular dishes: fresh hummus with vegetable crudites, the octopus salad, or one of Sofra’s famous tagines. By night, experience fresh seafood and vegetable-forward entrees that build on authentic ingredients such as barrel-aged feta and hand-pressed olive oils and freshly baked flatbreads, all paired with natural wines. In addition to fish, meat and pasta dishes, enjoy dishes that celebrate vegetables, such as za’atar roasted cauliflower and vegan couscous, or more hearty authentic dishes such as rigatoni pasta and Mediterranean sea bass. Sofra also boasts a lively bar, featuring distinctly Mediterranean delights like Daiquiri Classicos, Hotel Nacionals, and Metaxas.

NOLITA

Buzzing with energy and inspired by the famed New York-Italian culinary district of the same name, Nolita celebrates AmericanItalian cuisine by recreating authentic family recipes passed down through generations. This is a place where red sauce and garlic cream sauce dishes share the same table and each elevates the other. You can order a familiar Italian classic or an innovative wood-fired pizza. There are no rules, just great food in a comfortable atmosphere. For context, the Nolita neighborhood is just north of Little Italy in New York City. It’s a place where cultures are blended, so it’s not about Northern or Southern Italy, but rather, a wonderful melting pot. The result is progressive and delicious. At Nolita, you’ll taste the warmth and energy these cultures inspired. “We have a wood fire pizza oven in the restaurant so we make authentic Neapolitan style pizzas and of course we hand crank all our pastas,” says Chef Yerramilli. Nolita is also a great place for a lively bar experience, with the restaurant featuring a large, oval-shaped bar in the center of the action. Here, you can grab an authentic Italian cocktail, wine, beer or even a “boozy milkshake,” says Chef Yerramilli, all served by bartenders in traditional attire. For a quick slice, the poolside pizza window offers guest a carry-away option that mirrors its namesake neighborhood.

THE GRILL

Setting the standard for a five-star dining experience, The Grill is The Ritz-Carlton, Naples’s world-class steakhouse, serving the best selections of dry-aged beef, fresh seafood, seasonal favorites and international award-winning wines. Coupled with impeccable service from our Ladies and Gentlemen, The Grill is classic Ritz-Carlton. This is where culinary art really shines, with a classic, crisp, elegant feel that’s intimate in its delivery. Featuring comfortable chairs, white linen and a sophisticated atmosphere, The Grill is ideal for a celebratory meal, whether it’s a special occasion or just a night during your vacation. “There are two items that are not on the menu but all our local patrons ask for nightly,” says Chef Yerramilli. “They are the oysters Rockefeller and the bone-in filet steak. We sell out of those dishes every night. So, if you know, you know.” And now you know…

LOCAL FARM AND OCEAN-TO-TABLE COMMITMENT

One of the most impactful actions any restaurant or resort can take is sourcing their food locally. This rewards the guests with fresh produce and proteins that excites the palate and nourish the body. And it also benefits the local community, many of whom have dedicated their lives to growing and harvesting food in the most environmentally sustainable way possible. This benefits the world at large by reducing the carbon footprint of bringing food to the table.

At The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, we have developed close relationships with community purveyors to provide our guests with the highest quality, most sustainable ingredients from local lands and waters.

“It’s a collaborative effort between our chefs and the local fishmongers and farmers. In many ways the purveyors are helping our chefs craft their menus,” says Market Director Kevin Donahue. It means the local community prospers, sustainability is ensured, and the guests get the freshest products possible. “In the end, that’s what is most important,” says Donahue.

MOKA

Step into the warm authenticity of a true Italian cafe, with traditional selections reflecting the craftsmanship of three generations of coffee roasters. Moka is the perfect spot to enjoy classically produced, Italian-influenced coffees at any time of day. Moka is inspired by the streetside cafes of Florence and Rome, pouring that bustling energy and artistry into a cup. To ensure its authentic delivery, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples partnered with thirdgeneration roasters who hand-pick their beans. Named for Italian inventor Alfonso Bialetti’s famous coffee pot, the Moka Express, which helped make the cafe experience available to everyone, Moka celebrates the comfort and satisfaction in a perfectly executed coffee. It’s the spot to get a simple cup of coffee on the run, or an authentic macchiato or cappuccino, or other Italian favorite. Moka also has everything from morning pastries and midday sandwiches to gelato and desserts for the evening. “We serve 15 varieties of ice cream, churned fresh every day from our own recipes,” says Chef Yerramilli.

GUMBO LIMBO

Inspired by the Florida coastal lifestyle, this casual seafood restaurant is the perfect place to catch the sunset while being serenaded by the ocean waves. Just steps from the sand, with an open-air floorplan, you’ll bask in the warm Gulf breeze as you make selections from an ever-changing menu and progressive cocktail list that celebrates the laid-back salty lifestyle. Weathered wood, comfortable chairs, ocean and beach hues, along with expansive views and a festive atmosphere, ensure a relaxed, vacation vibe. “You can walk in barefoot off the beach and get coconut shrimp, lobster quesadillas, grouper tacos, or a great hamburger, all while enjoying that amazing ocean view and breeze,” says Chef Yerramilli. And don’t forget about the drinks, he adds, since Gumbo Limbo is known for its margaritas and festive frozen drinks. So beloved is Gumbo Limbo, he says, that it has become the spot to go at sunset for locals and hotel guests alike.

Stirring the Five Senses

THE NEWLY RENOVATED LUXURY SPA INDULGES THE SENSES WITH A TRULY HOLISTIC APPROACH

Whether spagoers are seeking relaxation, rejuvenatation or wanting to step into a suspended state of bliss, guests at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples can expect each body treatment and facial to incorporate local herbs and botanicals, as well as stones from the Gulf. The combination of herbs, rich minerals and essential oils is meant to create an unforgettable spa experience for hotel guests and spa members.

The 51,000-square foot, three-floor facility, with steam room, saunas, aqua lounges, an outdoor mineral pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center, offers guests the epitome of health and wellness with the added bonus of a spa director who has been with Ritz-Carlton for over 18 years. Spa Director Michelle Kelthy has collaborated with her staff to design the exceptional spa

program experience that caters to each guests’ holistic health. “From the physical to the soul, our Ladies and Gentlemen are focused on creating a transformational experience that soothes each guest,” Kelthy says.

With 35 years of experience in the spa industry, Kelthy says she has been inspired by her worldwide travels, but especially by her time living and working in Asia. “It’s been a pleasure gathering the knowledge needed to provide guests with a luxury spa experience. The holistic treatments we provide are designed to help people find balance by working through the root causes of imbalance,” says Kelthy. “Even when we see people only once or twice during their stay, being able to educate guests about these treatments enables them to return home to continue their work of overall well-being.”

CALM SEAS AHEAD

For those undergoing or recovering from cancer treatments, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples offers a unique treatment protocol for people with compromised health who may be undergoing cancer or post-cancer treatments. The Calm Seas Massage, a light hands treatment that addresses the parasympathetic nervous system, is built around what each guest is in need of at the time of service and addresses overall wellness, immunity and neuropathy.

“We address each guest’s personal situation individually,” Kelthy says. “After many years of our therapists being nervous about performing any type of treatment on someone with compromised health, we brought in an oncology specialist so that we could embrace this type of care. We work with organic Voya brand products and our therapists are confident in creating personalized treatments for the guests.”

The restorative Calm Seas Massage utilizes nourishing vitamins and minerals, as well as the therapist’s intuition and education to hydrate, relax and rejuvenate guests while they heal from or experience compromised health, and is safe and effective during active and post medical treatment.

When you walk into The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples, all five senses are activated. “Whether it’s the music you hear, the aromatherapy you smell, the beauty you see around you, or the touch you receive during treatments, stirring those five senses is, to me, what speaks to luxury,” says Kelthy.

SPA OFFERINGS

Housed within the recently redesigned facility accented with coastal hues representative of the locale are 35 tranquil treatment rooms where guests can choose from a variety of specialized massage treatments and facials, as well as hair, nail and other beauty appointments. The spa cafe, H2O, offers fresh juice and salads to enjoy before, after or between treatments, and the mineral pool beckons from its outdoor sanctuary.

“Being on the beach in the Gulf, we incorporate the organic Voya brand, which utilizes hand-harvested seaweed,” Kelthy says. “We also embrace our sense of place with aromatherapy that represents the ocean and uses stones from the Gulf waters for the Gulf Stone Massage.”

The resort’s state-of-the-art fitness center also resides in the spa facility and offers personal training, yoga, meditation and group classes, in addition to cardiovascular and strength-training equipment options. To top off The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples experience, guests can also enjoy hot and cold plunges, the eucalyptus steam room and infrared sauna, whirlpool and serene relaxation lounge.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples and its services are available to registered guests and spa members. Community members and local guests may enjoy hair, nail and other beauty treatments at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Salon, which is open seven days a week.

From made-to-order dishes prepared with only the finest ingredients to signature cocktails crafted with meticulous care, the Club Lounge’s culinary offerings are a magnificent feast for the senses. Guests will also enjoy curated daily presentations within the private lounge, including tastings from the resort’s culinary partners or local artisans. Whether indulging in gourmet cuisine or sipping handcrafted libations, guests are treated to an extraordinary epicurean journey. And, with the recurring cooking and mixology demonstrations, guests get intimate lessons and recipes, “so they can take a little bit of their experience with them and recreate it at home,” says Roberts.

A HAVEN FOR FAMILIES: Recognizing the importance of fostering meaningful connections and creating lasting memories, the Club Level experience places families at the forefront of their offerings. Catering to the unique needs of families, the Club Level provides an environment that strengthens bonds and nurtures shared experiences, while ensuring that every member of the family is catered to individually.

“The goal is to help strengthen the bonds between loved ones, creating an environment that makes every family feel exclusive,” says Roberts. “Everyone is able to enjoy the cuisine that they enjoy, because there’s many different options, or you can get something made to order. Dad can have the drink of his preference, or mom can have the specialty cocktail of the day,

and the kids can get peanut butter and jelly sandwiches if they want.” There is even a cookie printer in the Club Lounge where children can design their own cookies, providing a memorable and interactive experience for the entire family. Additionally, there are daily, family-friendly demonstrations in everything from art and nature to baking and local attractions. The possibilities for unique experiences are endless.

The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Club Level experience stands as the zenith in luxury, elegance and unrivaled service. With its exceptional guest amenities, special services and commitment to creating unforgettable life experiences, whether seeking a tranquil retreat, a memorable family vacation, or an adventurous getaway, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples continues to set the standard for excellence in the world of travel and hospitality.

SPACIOUS SUITES: The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Vanderbilt Tower offers an array of spacious suites with a design and color palette that reflects and honors the natural beauty they look upon. With a quiet elegance bathed in quality furnishings and inspiring art, each suite relaxes the senses and energizes the mind. As a celebration of the Gulf Coast, the suite’s sleek and modern elements extend to every space. Sumptuous pillowtop mattresses, featherbeds and duvets with 400-thread count Frette luxury linens grace the bedrooms while 42 inch flat-screen TVs and plug-in, smart technology is featured in the living room. Marble-laden bathrooms and unobstructed views of the coast complete the perfection.

The options are equally impressive. These include executive suites with a bedroom and a parlor, a two-bedroom suite, and a split-level threebedroom suite, perfect for multi-generational families who desire room for personal time as well as large family areas for quality time. “The split-level suites allow families to bond together in common areas, but also give them the option to create personal space. That’s just as important to enjoying a great vacation,” says Roberts.

On the following pages, get an inside look at some favorite can’t-miss activities and adventures. FOR HELP ARRANGING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCES, CONTACT THE CONCIERGE DESK OR LEISURE RESERVATIONS AT (239) 514-6001 FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

RACE ALONG THE COAST ON A WAVERUNNER: There’s nothing quite like speeding along the pristine waters at 30 knots, the spray blasting by and the wind blowing through your hair. Renting a Waverunner is always an adventure. These thrill crafts can seat up to three, including the driver, and independent or tour rentals are available. Instruction on Waverunner use and safety is included.

SET SAIL: Channel your inner explorer and set sail on the open waters for a half- or full-day sailing adventure. Tours are available to take you sightseeing along the coast, to great snorkeling spots or on a romantic sunset sail. The gentle breezes, clear waters and chance to encounter marine life, like dolphins, sea turtles and manatees, will refresh and inspire.

CATCH A FISH: When it comes to fishing, the Paradise Coast truly lives up to its name. Offshore fishing in the plentiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico offers anglers the chance to catch both bottom fish and pelagics, from big grouper, cobia and snapper to Spanish mackerel and kingfish. Or take to the calm, picturesque backwaters of Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, a chain of islands and mangrove islets between Cape Romano and the mouth of the Lostmans River that teem with species like goliath grouper, redfish, jack crevalle and more. The best way to see the islands is a 90-minute narrated boat tour based at the Gulf Coast Visitor Center of Everglades National Park in Everglades City, but the best fishing can be found south of Chokoloskee Island.

MAXIMIZE YOUR POOLSIDE EXPERIENCE: No stay is complete without several hours, or days, devoted to lounging by the pool of your choice, and the new heated pools are one of the best features of the reimagined resort. To bring the experience to an even higher level, our new poolside bungalows are air-conditioned and feature entertainment systems, private baths and cascading doors. They make lounging by the pool a vacation in itself.

ENJOY A PRIVATE BEACHSIDE CABANA:

One of the premier draws of a stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples is a day on the famous white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. To maximize the experience, why not take advantage of our private beachside cabanas. With luxuries such as a cabana butler, plush lounge chairs, beverage service, luxury cooler stocked with non-alcoholic beverages, snack basket, fruit presentation and more, it will be a beach day worthy of a Paradise Coast postcard. Kindly note: beachside cabanas are offered seasonally so as to not impact nesting sea turtles.

The calm waters off Vanderbilt Beach are perfect for beginners and experts alike. Go for an hour, go for a day. Either way, you’ll return with a smile, tan and post-exercise glow.

PLAY A ROUND: The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, Tiburón, just minutes away, offers a serene retreat among rolling greens, swaying palms and shimmering lakes. Featuring two 18-hole championship courses designed by The Shark, Greg Norman, Tiburón Golf Club is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International, ensuring that no matter your score, you’ll enjoy a peaceful day in nature. The perfectly manicured courses feature stacked sod wall bunkers, coquina shell waste bunkers and no conventional rough. And if you left your clubs at home, don’t worry. Guests of The Ritz-Carlton can reserve a set of new Callaway golf clubs, with six balls, a golf glove, golf shoes and more for only $40. There’s no excuse not to play a round or two.

KAYAK THE MANGROVES: The diversity and beauty of Florida’s Everglades is second to none, with thick mangrove tunnels and awe-inspiring flora and fauna. During winter months, manatees congregate in the canals and year-round you’ll have a chance at spotting multiple bird species, river otters, alligators and more. And whether you choose to explore them by guided kayak or boat tour, you’ll forge lifelong memories.

ENJOY THE AMAZING SUNSET: Being on Florida’s west coast has some distinct advantages, and one of the biggest comes every day at sunset. Watching the day transition into night is an event in Naples for good reason, and one not to be missed. Vanderbilt Beach, which fronts The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, is regularly heralded as one of the top spots from which to watch each spectacular sunset.

THE NEEDS AND DESIRES OF TODAY’S LUXURY TRAVELERS HAVE EVOLVED.

Fun for the Whole Family

Family vacations are all about shared experiences, building bonds and making memories. The Ritz-Carlton, Naples and The Paradise Coast are perfect for all three. Here are some activities that are guaranteed to make the highlight reel for families of all kinds.

KIDS IN-ROOM CAMPING EXPERIENCE

The luxury accommodations at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples offer an indulgent and relaxing oasis for all. However, sometimes kids love to have their own space within a space to further their adventure. The unique In-Room Camping Experience provides this opportunity. Our Ladies and Gentlemen set up a fun and exciting space that’s kids-only: a teepee-style tent with toys and games just for them. “They get their own sanctuary in the middle of all this adult area,” says Market Director Kevin Donahue. “It’s a place where they can imagine and play and just be kids.” A word of warning, says Donahue: Good luck getting them to go to the pool when you want to.

THE RESERVOIR AT THE RITZ-CARLTON NAPLES, TIBURÓN

Featuring a 630-foot-long lazy river, 30-foot-tall tower of water slides, a children’s activity section and a 1,600-square-foot adult pool surrounded by luxurious cabanas and spacious lounge chairs, The Reservoir is a true water wonderland for all ages. Grab an innertube and drift through the winding river under the warm sun or send it in one of the open or enclosed corkscrewing slides. Even the very young have a spot with a zero-depth entry pool that transitions to less than a foot deep and a central structure featuring spraying elements, water cannons, rain showers, and three toddler slides. If there weren’t so much to do on the Paradise Coast, you could spend your entire vacation right here.

THE NAPLES ZOO AT CARIBBEAN GARDENS

When you think of Florida, great zoos might not come to mind, but Naples actually has an impressive zoo with a surprising array of animals. From lions, tigers and bears to zebras, alligators, giraffes and many other exotic mammals, reptiles and birds, Naples Zoo will easily fill a day with wonder. “With so many fewer schools doing field trips, family outings like these are more and more important,” says Donahue.

RINGING THE BELL AT SUNSET

Whether you stay at the beach until the day fades to night or you come down for a quick visit before dining, don’t miss the ringing of the bell at sunset. Each evening, a guest family is selected to ring the bell, signifying another perfect day in the books along the Paradise Coast. “We spend so much time in motion that we sometimes forget to slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature and our surroundings,” says Donahue. “I think this is a great opportunity for parents to set an example for their kids to do that.” He adds that for a truly special memory, families can request canvases so members can paint the sun as it dips below the waves, giving them a personal family keepsake.

NAPLES BOTANICAL GARDEN & THE AUDUBON CORKSCREW SWAMP SANCTUARY

For maximum peace, it’s hard to imagine a better outing than the world-class Naples Botanical Garden. Featuring 170 acres of plants from around the world, garden tours are included with admission and there are always special events or activities available. Equally inspiring is a visit to Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, in the heart of the Everglades ecosystem. Walking the sanctuary’s famed 2.25-mile boardwalk is a true adventure as it takes you through pine flatwoods, wet prairie, around a marsh, and finally into North America’s largest old-growth bald cypress forest. Along the way, you’ll have a chance to spot alligators, otters, white-tailed deer, red-bellied turtles, and any number of birds. It’s well worth half a day on your vacation itinerary.

SHELLING

With so many miles of coastline, shells seem as plentiful as stars in our night sky. And shelling, says Donahue, is a great activity for the entire family. “Everyone gets to show off their treasure,” he says. The Paradise Coast is a perfect place to begin a shell or sea glass collection. “Then, as you travel, you curate your collection and have stories and memories tied to each newfound treasure,” says Donahue. He adds that if you want to take shelling to the next level, grab a boat to the Ten Thousand Islands, offshore, where the beach treasures are abundant. Plus, a sea adventure always makes for a better treasure hunting tale back home.

In addition to your choice of massage or hydro-services, the music, lighting and scents can all be customized to create the mood that will make the experience a highlight of your stay. Choose from a menu of treatments ranging from CBD Relief and Recovery and our Mindfulness Massages to the Sea Holistic Massage or Facials. Whatever you choose, our Spa is the perfect place to gain inspiration for an active day or relax and recover following one.

DAY OF PAMPERING AND SHOPPING

Part of a luxury getaway is pampering yourself, and for that, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples and the Paradise Coast has you covered. Perhaps it starts at the spa, continues in the salon for hair and nails, and then moves to a bit of shopping at the newest Marissa Collections location in the hotel, which features some of the world’s most exclusive designers. “I think as far as romance is concerned, the buildup to the big night out is half the fun,” says Donahue. “The reward, of course, is dinner at The Grill, the hotel’s premier steakhouse with an international wine list and elegant, intimate atmosphere. This is where culinary art is perfected,” says Donahue.

ENJOY AN ENCHANTED PRIVATE POOLSIDE EXPERIENCE

Comfort and privacy are key to any great couple’s getaway, and our reimagined poolside bungalows and cabanas are designed with both in mind. Our 10 fully-enclosed poolside bungalows feature cascading doors, air-conditioning, televisions, entertainment systems, private baths and service bars. Our 10 poolside cabanas offer plush seating, ceiling fans, and televisions. Either choice ensures a magical day at our newly designed pool.

CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF

Avid golfing couples owe it to themselves to play a round at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. Located just three miles from The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, it offers two 18-hole championship courses nestled among a serene retreat featuring rolling greens, swaying palms and shimmering lakes. In fact, the courses are so pristine that Audubon International certified them as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. No clubs? No problem. Ritz-Carlton guests may reserve a set of new Callaway golf clubs, with six balls, a golf glove, golf shoes and more.

TENNIS

If you’re a more active couple, The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón also houses one of Southwest Florida’s premier tennis facilities, featuring hard courts along with hydro clay courts. Whether you desire a friendly singles match, a social doubles match, or are looking to improve your game with instruction, the resort can accommodate. SIGNATURE CHAMPAGNE TASTING EXPERIENCE

Nothing says romance like champagne, so a private Signature Champagne Tasting Experience at the new Lobby Bar is an unforgettable couple’s night. “This is a gorgeous, elegant space, with a chandelier reflecting the amber hues flooding in through the west-facing windows from the sunset,” says Donahue. And the menu is just as sophisticated, with dozens of highly coveted selections, curated by a master sommelier. It’s an intimate and exclusive experience that will not be forgotten.

ARTIS-NAPLES

Home to The Baker Museum, the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and Edward Villella’s Miami City Ballet, and host to more than 400 events every year, there is always something cultured and curated going on at Artis-Naples, just 10 minutes from the hotel.

TIN CITY

Filled with locally owned shops and restaurants in rustic structures alongside the waterfront, Tin City is a place where a couple can have a light-hearted day meandering the seaside planks or a family can find fun and adventure. Wonderful views, quaint settings and loads of history, Tin City is what you make of it.

A LAZY AFTERNOON AT THE BEACH

A major reason The Paradise Coast got its name is its white sand beaches and tranquil, pristine waters. And fortunately, there are dozens of ways to take advantage of a day at the beach. For a few calming hours, take a stroll on the boardwalk that meanders through a natural preserve of mangroves and palms and three miles of pristine beach. If you prefer thrills, rent a Waverunner, stand up paddleboard, or kayak, or go parasailing and get the ultimate view of the ultimate coast. Whatever you choose, it’ll make that spy thriller beach read seem dull in comparison.

Giving Back to Our Place in the World

FROM EDUCATIONAL ADVENTURES TO SUPPORTING DISADVANTAGED YOUTH, THE RITZ-CARLTON, NAPLES’ COMMITMENT TO SERVICE EXTENDS OUTSIDE THE PROPERTY

With the privilege of enjoying such a pristine part of the Florida coast comes the responsibility of stewardship, education and giving back. We embrace that challenge wholeheartedly through environmental, educational, and charitable programs designed to uphold the global commitments of our brand.

SUSTAINING OUR ENVIRONMENT

One of the most important things we can do to protect and preserve our coast is to educate the future generation. Through educational programs designed in concert with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, we welcome our youngest guests to explore and be inspired by the unique coastal ecosystem surrounding the resort. The Ritz Kids program presents a fun, interactive way to foster a deeper passion for sustainability in our 5- to 12-year-old guests.

“Any parent knows that the best way to encourage learning is a healthy dose of fun and discovery,” says Market Director Kevin Donahue. “Those core elements help drive the transformational programming of Ritz Kids in Naples.”

SUCCEED THROUGH SERVICE

A core pillar of our Community Footprints signature program is service to community. In the award-winning Succeed Through Service program, our Ladies and Gentlemen mentor young students in disadvantaged communities to work toward futures not previously envisioned. They also help them to value giving back to their community and learn valuable life skills that will help them attain success.

Succeed Through Service is aptly named. Through this hands-on engagement program, students are able to visit our hotels to be inspired by seeing possible future careers in person. Further, our employees visit classrooms to educate students on skills that will benefit them in their careers. They share the importance of social skills (eye-contact, a warm smile and a firm handshake); healthy eating habits and how to safely handle food; group presentation skills; and the value of teamwork and collaboration.

Since its launch in 2009, the Succeed Through Service program has had enormous success and impact, benefiting over 15,000 students, and counting. It has been so successful, in fact, that

The Ritz-Carlton developed an open-source Succeed Through Service Toolkit that any group or organization can access.

“Our hope is that this inspires and aids others to help young students flourish, complete their education and have a successful and productive life,” says Donahue.

A DESIGNATED FLORIDA GREEN LODGING PROPERTY

At The Ritz-Carlton, Naples we are well aware that our success and our guests’ enjoyment are directly tied to a vibrant and healthy environment. The clear waters, the lush everglades, the abundant
