The Wanaka Arts Society has presented biannual exhibitions since 1977. These exhibitions feature painting, ceramics, creative fibre, embroidery, jewellery, patchwork, photography, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, 150 Art and woodcraft. There is always a Special Theme category and this Easter it will be “Wings” to complement the air show weekend. The Wanaka Arts Society also feature Youth artists, encouraging budding young artists to get involved. Each exhibition features one or more Guest Artists. Our Easter Exhibition will feature paintings and woven rugs by Jacqui Gibbs Chamberlain, paintings by Michael Scheele and jewellery by David McLeod. Our Guest Judges will be Jacqui Gibbs Chamberlain and Marion Vialade.
