Awakening cosmic new beginnings

BY LEANNE, THE BAREFOOT MEDIUM Sit back, relax, kick off your shoes and allow Spirit and I to share some wisdom, insights and practical steps with you around “Awakening and Creating Cosmic New Beginnings”.

Let’s first start by reminding each of you that you are the result of an awakening and a creation of a magical cosmic new beginning.

How so you ask?

Well, many of you are the result of a conscious decision - not always, but we won’t go into that here - by your mother and father to create new life, the ultimate cosmic new beginning that many people look forward to.

Now, as a soul you are essentially a bundle of vibrating energies inhabiting a physical body, which all started with your first cosmic new beginning in the development of you as a human being.

This all started at the point of fertilisation, to awaken and create you as an individual into existence – pretty amazing and magical right!

Your energy then transformed and evolved into an embryo within the womb of the female body – your mother – and your development and growth was in full swing, building specific body parts, nervous system, musculoskeletal system, heart, spinal cord, brain and much more.

At some point you communicated energetically to your mother that you were ready to make your appearance into this physical world, your final awakening in this new beginning for your exit from one energetic space to another.

Your biggest awakening – by no means your last - the moment you become suddenly aware of the world around you.

Now that you are in the physical world, your physical body becomes the temple that your soul is housed within, ready to receive from the world around you and to connect, transform and grow in ways that are loving, joyful and true for you.

As a soul and energetic be-ing, it is essential that you understand that you

illusion, judgement or toxicity, the Universe will ask you to undergo a process of transformation, learning and growth - often referred to as ascension simply a cleansing and clearing process to open you up to the truth of who you are, resetting the energetic signal you are emitting to that of your authentic self, an energetic be-ing of unconditional love. and only you hold the magic to create cosmic new beginnings and the life you want and deserve through the energetic signal you are sending out to the universe and attracting back.

This signal is created based on what you allow your soul to be penetrated and fertilised with in the form of thoughts, beliefs, stories, perceptions, expectations, emotions, actions, situations, experiences or relationships.

So, as you move through your day it is important to be consciously aware of what you are allowing into your temple and energetic body and whether it is allowing you to develop, grow and thrive in positive, uplifting, joyful and loving ways and through connection, respect, passion, sensitivity and loving attention and care.

Alternatively, you also need to be aware when you are allowing energies, experiences and relationships into your temple that result in struggle and decrease, stunt, shrink and hold your development and growth back in negative, toxic, draining and fearful ways.

You cannot escape this continuous process of transformation, learning and growth as it is what you have come to this physical world to do and no matter what the experiences or situations you are going through in your life.

Remember, you have the ability to transform any blocks, obstacles, confusion, helplessness, irritation, panic, overwhelm, sadness, disappointment, indecision, numbness, anger, jealousy or other toxic fear-based energies you take into your energetic temple (consciously or unconsciously) in any given moment so that they do not continue to interfere and sabotage your goals and desires behind the scenes.

To transform these energies, it is important that you also cleanse and clear your energy on a regular basis (chakras and bodies) so that you come back to the truth of who you are, positive, joyful and loving through processes such as meditation, mindfulness, acknowledging and releasing emotions and fears, affirmations, challenging and changing your stories/beliefs, accepting responsibility, changing your perspective, forgiveness and shifting any sabotage behaviours.

It is also essential that you learn to shield and protect your energetic temple against other’s negative fear-based energies, influences and congestion so you are not also collecting their junk along the way.

This then allows you to easily embrace the magic that already exists within you to create cosmic new beginnings and you can begin emitting the energetic signal you need to send out to the universe to attract back the life you want and deserve with ease, grace, love and joy – this is how you awaken and create your cosmic new beginnings.

Breathe in the new year

Ahhh… breathe sigh of relief. Even the words sound refreshing to utter.

The phrase conjures feelings of a fresh start, renewed hope, new opportunities and a chance to rebuild that which no longer serves you or is structured in a less than optimal way.

New beginnings can be anything from Monday’s (Example: “I’ll start that new diet on Monday.”) to each new day, month, new moon and indeed every new moment can be a new beginning.

Every breath carries with it the opportunity to take you into a new beginning.

As we approach the commencement of a new year, this can typically feel like a very powerful new beginning.

An opportunity to begin again.

I believe that is a great attitude to have towards the New Year!

However, we needn’t wait for January 1st to make the positive changes in

our lives that we want to see - we can do it now! In any moment! Each new breath, can indeed be a new beginning.

If you have become unhappy with how you have treated yourself, your body, other people, or how you have structured your work life or relationships, each new breath, each new moment is an opportunity to forgive yourself, let it go and begin anew!

I make it sound easy. I know it is easier said than done but I think a short, profound poem from Mark Nepo illustrates my point beautifully.

Read this slowly and contemplate its message: "As a man in his last breath drops all he is carrying each breath is a little death that can set us free."

Now is the perfect time to start thinking about, and light-heartedly, playfully pondering;

What do I want to bring into my life in 2018? In the way of health, relationships, work and indeed any and all areas?

Why do I want to bring these things in?

What feelings do I expect those things to provide me?

We are emotional beings and the way we think it will make us feel is usually why we ever want for anything.

So enjoy and make the most of this powerful new beginning coming our way, in the form of 2018!

Yet don’t forget, the average person takes about 8,409,600 breaths a year and about 672,768,000 breaths in a lifetime, so don’t miss these many opportunities for a new beginning, any time you feel you need it.

So once you have identified the feeling you are wanting to create more of in your life, you can then ask yourself: How can I create more of that feeling in my life, right now?

This can be a powerful exercise because it makes you more content and happy in life, more grateful for what you already have and less craving or desperate for those things, relationships or experiences you are manifesting.

This process is not for the purpose of forgetting about what you are wanting to experience, have or create in your life. It’s about “letting go” energetically to the: lack of it in your life already, any 'neediness' in your vibration, and the pain of not having it already.

These are all crucial steps in this Law of Attraction based universe, if you want to be a powerful, conscious creator in your own life.

Cutting chords for a new beginning

As we move into 2018, no doubt there are many of you that view this as an opportunity for a new start. This is the time of year where we start to think about our goals for the New Year and reflect upon the goals we haven’t accomplished this year.

We proclaim resolutions like losing weight, more self-care, better relationships, career, travel, & paying off debt. We are searching for a clean slate and a chance to make significant changes that will hopefully bring us closer to a happier, healthier life.

A common occurrence is making a promise to yourself that something will change however the goal is not always fully realised; perhaps we fall back into old habits or patterns of behaviour & subsequently we harbour guilt. Sound familiar?

In order to have a true ‘new beginning’ we first must have a true end; an end to the things that don’t serve our best interest or is aligned with our goals, values or hopes. If we don’t let go of the reason behind us wanting to make the change in the first place, how can we ever truly have a chance to transform?

One way to help let go of the things that are holding us back is to cut unhealthy etheric cords. These are energetic tethers to a person, memory or belief that have the ability to exchange energy.

A healthy cord, like the connection in a happy relationship, is a source of high frequency energy making us feel rejuvenated and balanced. An unhealthy cord can leave you feeling drained, stressed, depressed or fearful.

CORD CUTTING RITUAL First create a sacred space. Find a quiet room or space with a comfy chair, where you will not be disturbed (make sure to turn off that phone!). The space needs to feel comfortable, clean and calm.

You can add items that make you happy like a candle, incense, crystals, art, trinkets or plants.

Once seated close your eyes & focus on taking deep breaths & relaxing your body. Get into your heart space by shifting your focus from your head to your heart.

When relaxed invite spirit to help you with the following intention: “My intention is for my spirit guides & angels to help me cut and release any attached etheric cords that are unhealthy and no longer serving my highest good. Any cord attached to a person, belief, memory or environment that is not aligned with my inner values, let it be released, & protect me from any future unhealthy attachments.

Thank you.”

In order to help the process, you can visualise the cord being cut.

You can write the intention out before hand and customise it anyway you like.

Whenever something is not working, doesn’t feel right or aligned with your inner self, you can always repeat this ritual. We are all an ongoing project; there will be many ends & new beginnings!
