Paris Fashion Week 2021 Paris Fashion Week goes totally digital in 2021, similar to many iconic events across the globe. Whilst the audience-free format may seem disappointing, the credibility and atmosphere of fashion shows has never relied on the audience. The beauty of them is that, nine times out of ten, the audience has been dissolved into complete awe and, whilst anything is more tangibly sensational in real life, when the art being presented is as meticulous and original as that of the outfits of Paris Fashion Week, the experience is just as credible over a screen.

With each new season, each new show, comes new trends. These are then adapted by the audience and, consequentially, the public. The spring season 2021 brought the return of the 80’s with this Schiaperelli ruched mini dress reinstating the high-volume attitude it brings to today’s fashion. Luis Vuitton are Everyday attire no longer has to be solely practical widely renowned for their ability to create unisex, flexible fashion that credibly avoids clothes being categorised to a gender. Their brilliantly named “His becomes Hers” collection began the desire for a slouchier, baggy look without losing the sleekness that a suit provides for men and

March 1st – March 9th 2021 sees the womenswear show take to the runway to style collections from some of the world’s most successful brands such as Luis Vuitton, Chanel, Alexander McQueen and many more. The fall/ winter show saw the most coveted looks coming from Alexander McQueen with “this grounded, bold and heroic” blazer look. Designs from Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood also caught viral attention for the vibrancy and texturally layered, ruffled dresses (see image right).
