THE STAR:

Rutgers commit Antwon Woolfork is a force when playing both forward positions. Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing in at 250 pounds, Woolfork (247 No. 305) uses his physicality to dominate opponents. He had a great summer playing with the Indy Heat Gym Rats on the EYBL circuit, where he had the chance to display all levels of his game. Woolfork is also a 3-star tight end on the football field, and he’s done a great job of applying physicality learned from the football field and applying it to the boards. He is very vocal on defense, and his leadership will be highly valuable for head coach Chet Mason and company.

THE SKINNY:

Brush’s backcourt this year will be quite impressive. Elmore James and 2025 guard Damari Dammons will man the guard positions. Both underclassmen are very skilled and can give Brush valuable minutes. Each of them can shoot the ball at a very high clip, and both have a tight handle. Other key pieces to this year’s Arcs’ team are small forward Marlon Barnes and power forward Tyler Williams. Barnes and Williams both have length that helps them on each side of the ball. Scoring comes easy to them. With Woolfork and a strong supporting cast, Brush has the chance to be a special group under Mason.
