THE STAR:

Kam Craft transferred to TSF in August, fresh off terrorizing Nike EYBL competition with MeanStreets during the spring and summer. Craft averaged 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, helping lead the Chicago-based EYBL squad all the way to the Peach Jam semifinals. Craft parlayed his standout summer into a commitment to Xavier, and the future Musketeer will have the keys to TSF’s car for the entire season.

The 11-man roster will operate with a fluid rotation under first-year head coach, and the “Robin” to Craft’s “Batman” will likely be 6-foot-5 wing Kaden Cooper. Recently re-classifying to the 2023 class, Cooper is dripping with potential, and his athleticism alone should provide an instant-impact for head coach Trey Scotti. A pair of sophomores will also play big minutes; 6-foot-9 big man Lathan Sommerville and 6-foot-2 point guard Rodrigo Farias. Sommerville provides TSF with much-needed size on the interior, and Farias operates as the best facilitator on the roster.
