op 10 bedding producer Therapedic International® says it is plugged-in for the upcoming Las Vegas Market, one where it will be featuring patriotic themes and introducing a new foundation design that includes USB ports on each side of the unit.

Yes, fans of the Constitution will be pleased. That is one of the product names in the new American Glory™ Collection.

The Pride and Independence beds round out the three-model collection.

Therapedic will be going big with its patriotic theme, according to Gerry Borreggine, CEO. He said Therapedic’s parking deck banner will feature a flag-backed bald eagle and the message: “Make America Sleep Great Again.”

Borreggine said the American Glory Collection is a celebration of national pride, and is designed to give retailers at the summer Las Vegas Market exciting products to promote this summer and into the fall.

The addition of USB ports to the foundation, a new feature for traditional foundations, recognizes the increasingly plugged in lives that consumers lead these days, and will give retailers an additional benefit to tout to their customers, Borreggine said.

The beds in the American Glory line feature the Quantum Perimeter Edge unit, engineered to provide greater durability, longer comfort life and better support than foam encasement beds; and Floating Foam, a unique high-performance foam with characteristics of both latex and visco foams, the company said.

model has more than four inches of foam added to the Quantum Edge unit while the top model Constitution boasts eight inches of foam, officials said.

Carrying through with the national pride theme, the models sport patriotic colors with red handles and embroidered blue stars. Mattress-only retail price points in queen are $799, $999 and $1,199.

The company’s other new offering, Therapedic Limited Edition, will also feature the Quantum Perimeter Edge pocket coil unit and will include three models—Imperial, Premier and Prestige—with retail price points in queen of $499, $599 and $699.

“We have two exciting, new, limited time only collections to show retailers,” said Borreggine. “We have built a solid merchandising story, and for American Glory, we will show a full complement of marketing and POP materials to accompany the collection.”

THERAPEDIC RIFFS ON TRUMP WITH ‘SLEEP GREAT’ THEME LAS VEGAS, NV

t looks like a page out of Donald Trump’s playbook, but Therapedic’s market promotion here is really designed to encourage all Americans to get a better night of sleep, the company says.

The campaign presents a riff on Trump’s “Make America Great Again” theme, adding some mattress positioning.

“Make America Sleep Great Again!” is Therapedic’s message, one that is featured on the big Therapedic banner on the World Market Center’s parking deck.

For the first time, Therapedic is offering the goods as mattress-only pricing at $799, $999, and $1,199 in queen size.

And the producer is offering a choice of three foundations: A standard base foundation; a power foundation with two USB ports; or an adjustable base foundation.

“We are looking to give our retailers an opportunity to be more competitive with the online retailers by offering the goods with mattress-only pricing, and also to give the dealer the opportunity to make more profit dollars with a choice of foundations,” said Borreggine.

“Until now retailers had only two choices with foundations— either standard, or an articulating base,” he continued.

“There is a big price jump between those two. Our new power foundation is not only a new offering, but it may serve as a bridge between the standard foundation and the articulating base, giving the retailer a footing to make a more realistic step-up.”

Borreggine said the new American Glory line compares very favorably to Internet boxed beds in substance, appearance and value. It will give brick-and-mortar retailers a compelling advantage over online-only beds, he said.

“You’ve got to sleep great to be great,” observed Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic’s CEO and president.

Just as Trump used red hats to carry his theme, Therapedic is offering marketgoers red hats with the Therapedic theme.

Borreggine said the company’s market message is not a political statement or a political endorsement. “We are just trying to have some fun and tie that humor into having a good night’s sleep,” he noted.

The first 100 retailers who visit Therapedic’s Las Vegas showroom—World Market Center B-946—will be given a “Make America Sleep Great Again” baseball cap. It’s all part of Therapedic’s campaign to bring some fun and excitement to this market.

“For the dealers who decide to brave the heat and visit this Summer Market, we will show and give them something cool take back to their home markets,” Borreggine said.
