his year Syracuse is presenting two amazing fireworks shows—one on Syracuse Lake and one on Lake Wawasee. Onlookers are sure to see some amazing pyrotechnics on full display.

Fireworks

Nothing says ‘summer’ quite like fireworks from a lake, and there’s no better place to view the celebration of our nation’s independence than the lakes of Kosciusko County.

Advertised as the largest community fireworks show ever, the 2022 Lake Wawasee fireworks celebration is slated for Saturday, July 2, at 10:15 p.m. It promises to be spectacular, especially if you’re fortunate enough to view the display from the water, where the brilliant flashes of color reflect magnificently on the lapping waves. Not to be outdone by its lakeside neighbor, Syracuse Lake will be offering its own Independence Day celebration on Monday, July 4, at dusk. No boat? No problem. You
