KEEPING COMPANIES AND COMMUNITIES SAFER TOGETHER The independent charity Crimestoppers is working closely with partners across the security industry and beyond to give people the power to speak up and stop crime. BY RODGER HOLDEN, CRIMESTOPPERS
For over three decades, Crimestoppers has worked on the frontline supporting the public, businesses and individuals to speak up safely and report crime 100% anonymously. As an independent charity, we’re able to provide a highly trusted anonymous reporting service; any member of the public with information about a crime can fill in our online form or call 0800 555 111 to tell us what they know with guaranteed anonymity.
Our innovative partnership with BSIA member Mitie Security sees us sharing information on criminal behaviour gathered by businesses, which is then fed into police investigations. Mitie is the first security company to form such a partnership with us, with the aim of bridging the gap between the public and private sectors to help keep people, customers and communities safe.
But we couldn’t do our important work without help from organisations who believe in our mission as much as we do. That’s why we support and collaborate with over 60 partners including
