ungerford Chamber of Commerce members have re-elected chairman Nigel Perrin to serve his sixth yearly term of office. Also re-elected at the annual meeting on Thursday, March 5 were secretary David Small and treasurer Mark Llewellyn. Most of the 17 people attending were in favour of the Hungerford Marina project with consideration of the natural environment.

The community will remember this man with saintly virtues and his faithful tractor.

ldbourne and distict residents turned out in their hundreds on Friday, March 6 to mourn the loss of Adrian William (Adie) Keen who died prematurely through a mystery infection at the age of 62. The Reverend Sue Rodd told an estimated 400 mourners wedged in pews inside St. Michael’s Church, standing in the aisles and outside the church that Adie had shown the tenacity of King David in rising from a wheelchair and forcing himself to work not only for his family, but also for the community which
