As we welcome the month of August, we hope everyone is enjoying the summer and taking advantage of everything Summerloch Green has to offer. Thank you for continuing to make our community such a friendly, welcoming, and enjoyable place to live. We truly appreciate the pride our residents take in their homes and the support you show one another throughout the year.
☀ SUMMER IS STILL GOING STRONG
Although summer is beginning to wind down, there is still plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful weather. Whether you’re spending time at the pool, taking a walk around the community, or visiting with neighbors, we hope you’re making the most of the season.
Please remember to stay hydrated and take extra precautions during these hot summer days.
�� NEW BOCCE COURT SCOREBOARD & COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
If you haven’t seen it yet, stop by the bocce courts and check out our brand-new scoreboard! It looks fantastic and makes it easier than ever to keep track of scores during your games.
We encourage all residents to take advantage of our bocce courts and shuffleboard courts. These amenities are here for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re playing a friendly game with neighbors, spending time with friends, or trying something new.
No experience is needed — just bring your friends, have fun, and enjoy another great way to stay active and connected within the Summerloch Green community!

Have you downloaded the Summerloch Green app yet?
The app is one of the easiest ways to stay up to date with everything happening in the community. You’ll find information about upcoming events, community announcements, office updates, maintenance notices, and much more.
We will be using the app much more frequently moving forward, so we encourage everyone to download it if you haven’t already. It’s the best way to make sure you don’t miss important community information and updates.

Our pools continue to be regularly maintained so residents can enjoy a clean, safe, and relaxing environment throughout the summer.
As always, please remember to follow all posted pool rules so everyone can safely enjoy the facilities.
�� TAI CHI EVERY TUESDAY
Don’t forget to join us every Tuesday from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Mango Hall for Tai Chi.
Whether you’re new to Tai Chi or have been practicing for years, everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to improve balance, flexibility, and overall wellness while spending time with your neighbors.
�� COMMUNITY PRIDE & FRIENDLY REMINDERS
As always, we encourage everyone to continue taking pride in our community by keeping yards maintained, disposing of trash properly, and helping keep common areas clean.
If you notice a new neighbor moving into the community, please take a moment to introduce yourself and make them feel welcome. Small acts of kindness help make Summerloch Green feel like home.

Spicy Shrimp Tacos
WITH MANGO SALSA
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make the mango salsa.
INGREDIENTS
TACOS
• 1¼ pounds shrimp, peeled
• 1 tablespoon chile powder
• 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
• Salt & black pepper
• 12 yellow corn tortillas
• 1 cup shredded cabbage
• 1 to 2 tablespoons hot sauce (optional)
MANGO SALSA
• 1 mango, finely diced
• ½ red onion, minced
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• ½ jalapeño, minced
• Juice of 1 lime
• ¼ cup chopped cilantro
• Salt & black pepper
In a medium bowl, stir the mango with the red onion, garlic, jalapeño, lime juice and cilantro to combine. Season with salt and pepper; set aside.
2. Make the tacos.
In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with the chile powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
3. Sauté the shrimp.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sauté until pink and fully cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and hot sauce (if using).
4. Toast the tortillas.
Heat another large skillet over medium heat. Working in batches, place 2 or 3 tortillas in the pan and heat until lightly browned on each side, 1 minute per side. Repeat until all tortillas are toasted.
5. Build the tacos.
Divide the cabbage among the toasted tortillas. Pile the shrimp on top and then garnish with the salsa. Serve immediately.
