Hello November, so happy to see so many familiar faces returning to our beautiful resort for the fall and winter season. We have so many fun events planned for the coming months, some old traditions, some new. Look forward to hearing all the stories you must share. Keep the positive energy flowing. Live for the day for tomorrow isn’t promised. Hug your loved one a little tighter and be thankful for all you have.

No large items are to be dumped in the dumpers. The area around the dumpsters is to be kept free and clear. Dottie’s Deals will pick up free of charge and so will the veterans. Waste Connections (the trash service) charges extra fees for bulk item dumps, which raises the cost of trash pick-up. Please do your part & help keep costs down, report to anyone you see who is dumping such items.

Street Parking

Do not park on the street in front of your house or in front of neighbor’s if visiting. If emergency vehicles need to pass through it makes it difficult. If the neighbor across the street needs to leave, it prevents leaving without hitting vehicles in roadway. ‘Citations will be given to homeowners for volitions’

MESSAGE FROM THE INDIAN SKIES RECREATION BOARD

It so great to be able to come back to our year-round residents, greet our regular snowbirds and all those newly arrived in our park. The Indian Skies Recreation Board has a great winter season of fun activities planned for you.

We are a group of volunteers who get together from November through March to organize a schedule of fun things to entertain you all and encourage fellowship with other residents. We also fundraise and in March officially donate to four charities located in Coolidge.

This newsletter provides you with our Monthly Activities Calendar – so pin it somewhere you can regularly check it. Of course, there are also posters in the Rec Hall and around the building, a Facebook page called Indian Skies Residents, and the Cobblestone phone App to keep you aware of what’s happening for all residents and visitors to enjoy. Sign-up sheets for all activities are in the Hall beside the east sliding doors.

Our Friday Coffee and Donuts (8.30 am) and Sunday Ice Cream Social (6 pm) are a great way to find out what’s going on, plus catch up with residents old and new – and we collect your $1 contribution and the profits of 80/20 which will go direct to our charity funds. Plus - these are the only times we sell tickets for upcoming meals and other events. Remember, ALL social activities are run by volunteers and there are sign-up sheets for those who would like to help serve! Please note- bring your own coffee cups!

We hope to welcome you at our first event – a Halloween Party - on Saturday 1st November at 5pm. Costumes encouraged! But if you arrive later in the month there will be lots of other special activities to take part in and enjoy –Movie Night, Potluck in remembrance of Veteran’s Day, Duck Races (for those who love to bet) Live Music, Karaoke, Craft Fair, and of course, an Indian Skies Thanksgiving meal!
