Manager’s Message & Summer Memories 3 Summer Memories

We are so excited to see several residents rolling into Indian Skies for the season. We know that many of you are trying to escape the colder weather in many parts of the US and Canada to the warm climate of Arizona. We are gearing up for a very fun filled season with so many events planned that the only way you would be bored is if you decide not to join in. I encourage everyone to join in as many of these events that you can that the activities committee worked hard to plan for you so that you can thoroughly enjoy your time spent here. If you are bored, then you only have yourself to blame!! Just sayin’

ALL PET RESORT: As of November 1, 2022, we will be an all-pet friendly resort so let’s go through some of the rules and regulations as well as what we expect from pet owners. • ALL pets must be registered at the office. If you do not have a pet pass and you are already here in the resort, please come into the office and get your pet pass.

• Prior written permission from Indian Skies RV Resort Management is required before any pet may be brought into the Community. Before the pet is brought into the community it must be registered in the office and the pet agreement must be filled out and signed. A pet is defined as a domestic dog or cat. Except for small birds or fish, all other animals are prohibited.

• Dangerous breeds will not be allowed - Chows, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Wolf-hybrids, German Shepherds, Pit Bulls of any kind, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Presa Canarios. This applies to both full and partial/mixed breed dogs. Management’s decision as to whether any pet is a dangerous breed is final and conclusive. Farm type animals like ducks, geese, rabbits, goats, pigs, chickens, and exotic pets, like snake’s and pot-belly pigs, are prohibited.

• A monthly pet rent: As of November 1, 2022, a $10 fee per pet will be charged to all Tenants with a pet or pets. In other words, if a Tenant has one pet, Tenant will pay $10 per month. If a Tenant has 2 pets, they will pay $20 per month for 2 pets.

They are to be walked down to the dog park or walked through the front gate outside the Resort to urinate or poop. ALL PET OWNERS MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN PETS POOP IMMEDIATELY. Pets are NOT ALLOWED to be walked up and down every street. Pet owners may only walk pets down the street they live on to the north street or south street to be walked down to the dog park or to be walked out of the front gate and all pets must be on a short leash less than 6 foot long. Be sure to always carry a poop bag with you when taking your pet out. There are also several dog stations around the resort for your convenience.

• Pets are NEVER ALLOWED IN ANY COMMON AREAS: Swimming pool and hot tub area, in or around the clubhouse, office, laundry room, pickleball courts, horseshoe courts and shuffleboard courts. Pets are NOT allowed to attend any community events even if the event is held outdoors.

• Guests and visitors are NOT ALLOWED to bring pets into the Community. “Pet sitting” is prohibited.

• Barking, growling, snarling, crying, howling and other such noises which disturb other tenants is cause for revoking permission to keep a pet. Aggressive or vicious behavior including but not limited to biting, scratching, or attacking another resident, a guest, or any employee, manager, vendor, or community staff member is cause for revoking permission to keep a pet and may also constitute cause for immediate termination of tenancy.

• ALL pets must be spayed or neutered by six months of age to be Community approved.

We have eyes and ears watching for non-compliant pet owners. If you are caught NOT picking up after your pet you will be charged a fine of $50 for the first offense, no questions asked, if you are caught a second time, we will be forced to ask you to leave our resort. We will also be watching for pets that are aggressive or pets that are left alone and causing a disturbance as in barking, howling, crying, we will ask you to resolve this issue right away with a written warning. If the issue is not resolved after the initial written warning and we get more complaints, we will be forced to ask you to vacate our resort. We are NOT going to tolerate non-compliant pet owners who refuses to pick up after their pet or refuse to remedy an aggressive pet or a noisy pet. The Pet pass is to be displayed in the front window of your home so that it is

visible to everyone.
