Tetra Laval Group donates 6.2 million THB to support local and international healthcare organizations in Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia towards COVID-19 relief efforts he global COVID-19 outbreak has brought about never-before challenges in our daily lives, and we remain deeply concerned for all those affected by the pandemic. In order to support the collective response to this crisis, Tetra Pak, Sidel and DeLaval will jointly donate €180,000, or 6,200,000 Baht, to local and international health care organisations in Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia. In Thailand, the group will donate €120,000 (4,200,000 Baht) to 5 hospitals; Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute, Siriraj Hospital, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Rajavithi Hospital and Ramathibodi Hospital. The donation will also go to other organizations including Thai Red Cross Society, Chaipattana Fund to fight against Covid-19 (and other diseases) and UNICEF Thailand. The contribution will be used for supporting the medical system and healthcare organizations at both local and national level in Thailand. The group will also donate €30,000 to Myanmar Red Cross Society and €30,000 to International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Cambodia. Tetra Laval Group remains fully committed to playing its part in ensuring continuous food supplies in the country while maintaining important measures to ensure the health and safety of the employees and all those involved in its operations. The group is extremely thankful to the employees, customers and partners for their relentless contribution during these difficult times, and pledges full support to the government, industry and communities in tackling this extraordinary situation.
