LET NATURE into your home

„THE FUTURE OF TESY IS TESY“

A friend of mine once said to me: “Ivo, you are competing with yourself”. I started competing with myself 20 years ago, TESY was a 10-year-old company, I was a 21-year-old student eager to explore everything I could get my hands on. I started my career in Shumen as Assistant Manager Export. The sales team was 10 times smaller, as was the company’s turnover.

The history we created together with TESY brought warmth to millions, while to me it brought the most valuable friends and trusted partners with whom we are still together to this day.

Through the years I have created different teams and together we made TESY known to the world and showed the world where we come from and where we are headed to.

These are the most motivating questions serving as a kick-start of my career I was asked in the first 15 years: “Who are you?” and “What is TESY?” These days, people are messaging me on LinkedIn asking me to become TESY resellers for their markets.

TESY sponsored my EMBA degree, which changed my life perspective and career. It took me out of my comfort zone and helped me find out more about myself and how I should go about my life.

I never hesitated to go into sales.

I am a sociable and sporty person, I celebrate life and victories, and I learn from losses. Positive vibes motivate me to reach the next peak. I like to challenge people and be challenged. Setting ambitious goals and achieving them has been the most inspiring force that has driven me through the years.

Growing with the company is a chance of a lifetime, supported by my family, no matter where I go in the world, they are the reason for my success.

That friend of mine was right, we create our own limits that we can easily overcome! This is why future success is something to pursue and as I like to say: “The future of TESY is TESY”. To create a recognisable brand and long-lasting legacy as a team – this is my mission at TESY.

UPCOMING EVENTS

WE ARE BUILDING A FACTORY FOR THERMODYNAMIC WATER HEATERS IN SHUMEN

THE INVESTMENT AMOUNTS TO OVER 50 MILLION BGN

We are starting to build a factory for thermodynamic water heaters in Shumen. The investment in the fifth manufacturing facility in the company’s portfolio amounts to over BGN 50 million. The news was announced by Zhechko Kyurkchiev, at an event with leading Bulgarian media and key business partners of the company, which took place on June 8 in Sofia.

The new factory is going to be commissioned by the end of 2024 and is going to meet modern standards for productivity, safety and energy efficiency.

The 11,500 m2 floor area is going to include a manufacturing facility divided into two main production halls with highly automated hi-tech welding, enamelling and assembly lines for water containers for thermodynamic and electric water heaters, as well as lines for final assembly of heat pump units and thermodynamic water heaters. The plans include a high-rack warehouse system and about 4 thousand pallet spaces with 6 loading ramps. The administrative area is going to be distributed over three levels and is going to include a robotics academy, an office section with 50 workplaces and a relaxation area with a capacity for 200 people. The planned annual capacity of the factory is over 200,000 units of finished product.

NEWS

The company’s decision to invest in Bulgaria was motivated not only by the strategic position of our country, but also by the planned synergies with TESY’s other production facilities, in order to effectively respond to the exponential demand for this type of products in Europe.

Thermodynamic water heaters and heat pumps are becoming more and more popular globally, due to the high economic efficiency and sustainability of the technology.

In addition to the new job openings and the creation of employment opportunities in Shumen region, we continue our training programmes for all employees, as well as the scholarship initiative for interns and young professionals, aimed at developing and putting the education they have received to practice in a production environment.

MEDIA EVENTS

The latest additions to the company’s portfolio were also presented at the event – the TESY AquaThermica Compact thermodynamic water heater for wall installation, the TESY MultiThermica heat pump for heating, cooling and domestic hot water and the

Key Bulgarian media representatives covered the event, with a total of 43 published articles.

TESY SALESFORCE IS A FACT

OSCAR ALVAREZ PRESENTS SALESFORCE – TESY’S NEW CRM PLATFORM

What is a CRM system?

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is a software solution that allows a company to manage data about existing and potential customers, sales and the flow of customer-related processes, starting long before the sale (marketing) and continuing after it (aftersales).

Salesforce is much more than a CRM system, it is a step forward for TESY in intelligent business management and will be actively used in all the company‘s markets. Thanks to all system functionalities, we will be able to record every single interaction with our customers – current and potential – in one place. We will be able to monitor the progress of negotiations, share them effectively and assign tasks and actions that allow us to measure results in real time.

Our related meeting and visit programmes and standardised summary templates make our operational work easier. By connecting the system with TESY‘s ERP program (SAP), we enabled the option to monitor and control all key indicators for the performance of sales and marketing actions.

SALESFORCE is just one tool. It‘s up to us to make the most of it. We already have a lot of functionality available, but we are soon going to add more features related to invoices and orders.

Easily accessible via phone app.

A COMPLETE RENEWAL OF THE CAPACITIES FOR THE SWH

WE STARTED A NEW PROJECT FOR A COMPLETE RENEWAL OF THE CAPACITIES FOR THE SWH

Our goal is before 2026, to have an annual capacity of:

• 120,000 enamelled SWH, up to 500 litres

• Plus 10,000 SWH, from 800 to 2000 litres (enamelled and buffered in total)

The indicative term for the implementation of the project is 3 years and is divided into 4 stages:

Phase 1. New enamelling line 3, including chemical cleaning, application and heat setting.

Phase 2. Increasing the capacities for the production of coils.

Phase 3. A new line for final assembly for the SWH.

Phase 4. A new line specialised for the production of buffers only.

The project is going to be implemented with the joint efforts of the following departments: “Production of SWH”, “Strategic investment projects”, IPDQ and “Product management”. The project manager is going to be Krasi Kolev. During the implementation, we are going to produce buffers using the spare capacities of the new heat pump plant, the upgraded enamelled SWH line and the electrical water heaters factory.

TESY MALTA

TRIVIA ABOUT MALTA

Malta is a carefree Mediterranean island where you can sunbathe, cliff jump and eat prickly pears during the day. In the evening you can admire the fabulous sunset, and at night – show your dance moves in the many nightclubs in St. Julian’s.

Many peoples and cultures have left their mark on Malta. As a result Malta resembles many countries, but at the same time is not like any of them. It is a unique home of prehistoric sanctuaries, narrow and steep streets reminding of Italy, yellow limestone buildings like those in Palma, phone booths like the ones in London and natural landmarks with Arabic names.

Road traffic drives on the left – a legacy from Malta’s past as a British colony, while Maltese language is similar to Arabic, but with many words borrowed from Italian, the Sicilian dialect, French and English.

Arabic influence is also traceable in Maltese surnames, as well as in one of the island’s architectural trademarks – the enclosed wooden balconies with glass windows. They are wonderfully colour matched with the doors of the houses and contribute to the picturesque urban landscape.

Every day starting at 12 noon at Baraka Gardens in Valletta you can also attend the cannon fire ceremony. This tradition has been in place for more than 400 years and is used to greet arriving ships and to mark anniversaries and national holidays.

The old capital of Malta –Mdina also deserves attention. The medieval fortress is truly impressive at sunset and at night. The view of Malta from the bastions is spectacular.

Of interest is also Popeye’s Village – a set of colourful wooden houses near Mellieha, built as a décor and film set for the Walt Disney and Paramount Pictures film about Popeye the Sailor Man starring Robin Williams. The film itself was not an unprecedented success, but the place remains one of the most visited in Malta. You can meet Popeye, Olive and Bluto in the village. The village offers a mini-golf course and a cinema, where parts of the film are shown.
