ATEX compliance
Please see Manufacturer Declaration (EC Directive 2014/34/EU/ATEX). Most of our current standard chemical hoses comply with the requirements of EN12115:2011 for hose type SD and for grade Ω/T, which are relevant for the ATEX approval in the scope of the standard.
The hose assemblies can be operated when used properly as a part of equipment within the equipment group II, category 2, in compliance with the EC Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX). The electrical conductivity fulfils the requirements of the standard EN12115:2011.
It must be ensured that the hose assembly will be operated only within operating conditions given to the hose and when the technical system (equipment) itself fulfils the requirements of the EC Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX).

This black hose cover rubber compound contains 30% sustainable materials from biobased and recycled sources. The compound is antistatic, highly durable and suitable for abrasive materials.
This compound is used as cover in Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON hose series.
Teknikum ChemicalSafe™ EPDM blue
This blue EPDM based rubber compound is flame retardant, chemical resistant, safe and suitable for moderately corrosive chemicals such as alkalis, ketones, alcohols and acids.

Teknikum® Rubber Compounds for Hoses Inner Lining
Teknikum WearBlack™ NR
This black hose inner lining rubber compound is highly durable and suitable for abrasive materials. Teknikum WearBlack™ NR Antistatic is tear and abrasion resistant and long-lasting in applications including transferring of sharp materials. Compound is antistatic.
This inner lining compound is designed for Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON material handling hose series.
Teknikum WearBlack™ SBRT
This rubber compound is specially developed to stand higher temperatures than our normal SBR rubber for hoses. Wear resistance properties of SBRT are significantly better in high temperatures than with other wear protection compounds. Maximum operating temperature is about +100 ºC, but it can take even 120ºC for short times.
This SBR based compound is especially good for hot dry grinding purposes. This compound can be used as both cover and inner lining for high temperature antistatic versions of Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON hose series.
Teknikum WearBlack™ SBR antistatic
This black compound includes 10% renewable natural rubber materials. The compound is antistatic, highly durable and suitable for abrasive materials.
This inner lining compound is designed for Antistatic versions of Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON hose series.
Teknikum FoodSafe™ NR
This white compound is designed for conveying non-oily food materials and milk. It is EU, FDA and BfR approved. The compound includes 35% renewable natural rubber materials and as such it is very durable. The compound is developed for high hygienic requirements and food contact applications. This compound does not transfer any odor or taste to transported foodstuffs.
This inner lining compound is used for reelable Teknikum FOOD-TEK® SD and Teknikum FOOD-TEK® SD Light hoses.
Teknikum FoodSafe™ NBR
This white NBR based rubber compound is hot water and oil resistant. It is also EU, FDA and BfR approved. The compound is developed for high hygienic requirements and food contact applications, especially for fatty foodstuffs and milk transferring. This compound does not transfer any odor or taste to transported foodstuffs.
This inner lining compound is used for Teknikum FOODTEK® D Lacto and Teknikum FOOD-TEK® SD Lacto.
Teknikum FoodSafe™ EPDM

When transferring the most aggressive chemicals, hoses inner lining must be made out of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) or FEP (Fluorinated ethylene propylene). This kind of hose withstand for example fuels, solvents, oils and corrosive chemicals.
FEP and PTFE both share the useful properties of low friction and non-reactivity, but FEP is superior to PTFE in applications involving exposure to detergents.

Cam locking coupling
DIN 2828 / EN 14420-7
AISI
Cam locking couplings according to DIN 2828 / EN 14420-7 are used particularly in chemical industry and mining industry.
As default hose shank is smooth, coupling material is acid proof steel AISI 316 / EN 1.4401 and female coupling / coupler seal material is NBR. Thread couplings are available on request also with serrated hose shank, different coupling materials and different seal materials.
Recommended clamps according to EN 14420-3.
Schnellkupplungen nach DIN 2828 / EN 14420-7 werden besonders in der chemischen Industrie und im Bergbau eingesetzt.
Der Standard-Schlauchschaft ist glatt ist. Das Kupplungsmaterial ist säurebeständiger Stahl AISI 316 / EN 1.4401 und das Dichtungsmaterial der M-Kupplung ist NBR.
Gewindekupplungen sind auf Anfrage auch mit gezahntem Schlauchschaft, anderen Kupplungsmaterialien und anderen Dichtungsmaterialien erhältlich.

DESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES
Flange couplings are widely used all around different industries, especially when connections between pipes and hoses are needed, or when permanent connections are needed. Advantages of this hose connection type are universal use as well as adaptation to comply with piping standards.
Flange couplings complying EN 14420-4 are suitable to almost all fixed/ permanent or nearly permanent hose connections when high reliability and high resistant against damages is needed. Dimensions are according to DIN 2642, EN 1092-1 or SFS 2170 pressure class PN 10.
• The material is acid resistant stainless steel AISI 316 (EN 1.4401). If necessary, flange couplings are available also made of other materials as well as with dimensions according to ANSI B16.5. Flange coupling hose shank is either smooth or serrated/shaped, according to the table below. Additionally flange couplings are available as fixed (onepiece) or swivel (rotating two-piece) flange.
Recommended clamps are according to hose outer diameter either swaged ferrule, EN 14420-3 safety clamps.

Hose clamps according to EN 14420-3 (DIN 2817) are used with hose fittings from the EN 14420 series.
Corrugated inner surface, clamp collar and tightening from two sides ensure by two ways that the coupling stays in hose: by tightening the hose on the hose shank and by locking the coupling behind the clamp collar.
Clamp material is aluminium or stainless steel AISI 316 / EN 1.4401.

• The Teknikum® Wireless Smart Hose system is an advanced cloud-based solution for off-site monitoring. The system gives a valuable warning of the condition of the hose by alerting when the service life is coming to an end, and the hose needs to be soon changed. The system is supplied with instructions and with customer specific abrasive material hose. The sensor devices are reusable after Smart Hose replacement.

Data Transmission: Wireless sensor sends data to the IoT Gateway, which connects to a secure cloud-based service.
Customizable monitoring: Monitor wear across two sensor layers or four measurement sectors (depending on hose construction).

Teknikum PLUS™ flange system consists of a rubber bead and a flange tightened behind the bead.
The flanges are used in hoses used especially in heavy chemical industry and in mining industry, but due its reliability and practicality it is suitable for a range of other applications as well.
The most important advantage of the Teknikum PLUS™ flange is free, undisturbed central flow in the connection point.
Addition benefits are high pressure resistance, reliability and long life cycle without need of seals are great advantages of Teknikum PLUS™ flanges.

Steel support flanges are used to support the connection between rubber connecting hose flange and counter flange of the pipeline. Steel support flanges are assembled on finished hose after making the rubber flange drillings.
Note: Rubber flange drillings, as well as steel support flange assembly, are made free of charge in case that customer orders steel support flanges together with connecting hoses. Standard steel support flanges comply with connecting dimensions of DIN 2642 / EN 1092-1 / SFS 2170 table PN 10, and the material is zinc galvanized steel.
We are able to supply steel support flanges with different specifications as well (e.g. different material or surface treatment).
Instead of rubber flanges and steel support flanges, connecting hoses can be supplied with Teknikum PLUS™ flange system.
The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU) compliant flanges available on request.

Teknikum Select™ flange couplings can be equipped with three alternative Teknikum Select™ gaskets
Polypropylene Teknikum Select™ gasket is light color plastic gasket, which is highly resistant to most of chemicals and recommended to applications in which connections need to be highly resistant to pressure.
Metal reinforced Teknikum Select™ rubber gasket is well suitable e.g. to mining industry applications in which the connection is required to be pressure resistant but flexible as well.

Plain Teknikum Select™ rubber gasket material is EPDM and the drillings are in accordance with DIN 2642 / EN 1092-1 / SFS 2170 PN10.

Teknikum’s premium multi-purpose water and pressure hoses are arctic quality, maintaining their properties in low minus degrees. Our rinsing and washing hoses come with a separate jet nozzle, a water hose for cooling systems and air brake hose for air transfer in railway pneumatic braking systems.
Our weather- and wear-resistant hoses are designed for the transfer of hot water and saturated steam, complying with the EN ISO 6134 requirements.

Hose band clamp
DESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES
• Kerko hose clamps are multipurpose band clamps which are used e.g. in hydraulics, vehicles, machines and construction.
• Clamps operate with one screw (KERK1R-) or two screws (KERK2R-) and a wide range of steel materials is available. Band dimensions vary according to band material and clamp size. Two or three clamps are recommended for larger diameter hoses to secure a firm grip. Different alternatives can be seen in the table below.

DESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES BESCHREIBUNG UND VORTEILE
• Hose nipple and union nut for dairy applications. The coupling is connected to a hose using SL-clamp or by swaging. The coupling is available acc. to either SMS 1145 or DN 11851 standards. Also available on request couplings with male thread and serrated hose shank.
• Schlauchnippel und Überwurfmutter für Molkereianwendungen. Die Kupplung wird mittels SL-Klemme oder durch Crimpen mit einem Schlauch verbunden.

SL clamp
DESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES
• Special clamp for assembling dairy coupling.
Corrugated inner surface, two tightening screws and clamp collar ensure by two ways that the coupling stays in hose: by tightening the hose on the hose shank and by locking the coupling behind the clamp collar. The clamp may also be welded to dairy pipelines which are equipped with ready-installed ring. The ring quarantees the right installation of the SL-clamp and the hose.
The material of the clamp is acid proof steel AISI 316L / EN 1.4404.
There is also available separate spare part to SL-clamps. Bolts and nuts are sold as single pieces.
BESCHREIBUNG UND VORTEILE
• Spezialschelle zur Montage von Molkereikupplungen.
Geriffelte Innenfläche, zwei Spannschrauben und Klemmschelle sorgen auf zwei Arten dafür, dass die Kupplung im Schlauch bleibt: durch Festziehen des Schlauchs auf dem Schlauchschaft und durch Verriegeln der Kupplung hinter der Klemmschelle. Die Schelle kann auch an Molkereileitungen geschweißt werden, die mit einem fertig installierten Ring ausgestattet sind. Der Ring garantiert die richtige Montage der SL-Schelle und des Schlauches.
• Das Material der Schelle ist säurebeständiger Stahl AISI 316L / EN 1.4404.
Es ist auch ein separates Ersatzteil für SL-Klemmen erhältlich. Schrauben und Muttern werden einzeln verkauft.

Le collier peut également être soudé sur les conduites de produits laitiers qui sont équipées d'une bague déjà installée. La bague garantit l'installation correcte du collier SL et du tuyau.
Le matériau du collier est de l’acier résistant aux acides AISI 316L / EN 1.4404.
Il existe également une pièce de rechange distincte pour les colliers SL. Les boulons et les écrous sont vendus séparément.

EN - Instructions for washing and disinfecting food quality hoses
The inner rubber tube of food quality hoses generally does not add any flavors or odors to the material being transferred. However, prolonged storage or improper handling may result in taste nuisance. Therefore, before initial installation, the hoses should be steamed twice with +130°C steam for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time, with occasional cooling.
Alternatively, the hose can be rinsed for 24 hours with a solution of 4g of sodium hydroxide and 5.8g of common salt in a liter of water at + 40°C. After treatment, the hose must always be rinsed with drinkable water.
The chemical resistance of hoses is affected by many factors, e.g. operating temperature, chemical properties of the substance to be transferred, rate and time of transfer. It is difficult to give precise washing and disinfection recommendations unless the actual conditions of use are known.
The information given in the table below is based on studies performed under laboratory conditions. No guarantee can be given as to the suitability of the substances, as the actual conditions of use vary. All information given in the table is indicative.

Rubber as material - benefits
As a flexible material rubber enables several advantages to engineering, to operation as well as to maintenance, no matter if the case is light washing hose or heavy-duty slurry hose pipeline. For example, rubber hose attachment point can be fixed easily in the process, and the kintetic energy of the transferred material is absorbed by rubber hose.
As a flexible element in the construction a rubber hose attenuates e.g. wearing movement or vibration from pumps. Additionally, a rubber hose recovers from deformation. The prices in the price list are retail prices and only for stock items. Currency is EUR, value added tax 0% and the prices are based on delivery terms FCA shipping point, Incoterms 2010. For deliveries we apply NL17 General Conditions. Stock items delivered ex-stock, subject to prior sale.
Packaging - wooden pallet or cage
We supply our hoses mainly in a way that up to inner/nominal diameter 150 mm hoses are coiled and packed on a wood pallet (price 12,00 €/pc, will be charged separately). Bigger hoses are supplied mainly in straight position and packed in a wooden cage, in a special long wood pallet or in a wood box (pricing according to the size). Please contact to our sales when concerning the right packing.

Applications
Straight hoses are used in several applications, e.g. in foodstuff, chemical, construction, mining and machinery industries.
We have divided our standard hoses into product groups according to transferred materials and use application. In addition to this, the customer should pay attention to several other issues, e.g. working pressure, working temperature and chemical resistance.
Custom hoses & assemblies
In addition to the standard hoses, we manufacture customer specific hoses and hose assemblies. The requirements of those hoses and hose assemblies originates e.g. from customer´s will, use application, regulations and legislation. Ask more from our sales engineers.
Hose tolerances & standards
Our straight hose dimensions comply mainly with the requirements of the standard (SFS-EN) ISO 1307. In case of more specific standard those requirements are followed. Hose outer diameter and wall thickness tolerances are not complied simultaneously.

DE - Wasch- und Desinfektionsanleitung für Lebensmittelschläuche
Der innere Gummischlauch von Lebensmittelschläuchen verursacht in der Regel keine Geschmacks- oder Geruchsbeeinträchtigungen des zu fördernden Materials. Eine längere Lagerung oder eine unsachgemäße Handhabung kann jedoch zu Geschmacksabweichungen führen. Daher sollten die Schläuche vor der Erstinstallation zwei Mal mit +130 °C heißem Dampf für jeweils maximal 20 Minuten mit zwischenzeitlicher Abkühlung behandelt werden.
Alternativ kann der Schlauch für 24 Stunden mit einer Lösung aus 4 g Natriumhydroxid und 5,8 g Kochsalz auf einen Liter Wasser bei +40 °C gespült werden. Anschließend muss der Schlauch mit Trinkwasser gespült werden.
Die Chemikalienbeständigkeit von Schläuchen wird von vielen Faktoren beeinflusst, z. B. Betriebstemperatur, chemische Eigenschaften der zu fördernden Substanz, Geschwindigkeit und Dauer der Förderung. Genaue Waschund Desinfektionsempfehlungen können nur bei bekannten Verwendungsbedingungen gegeben werden.
Die Informationen in der folgenden Tabelle basieren auf Studien, die unter Laborbedingungen durchgeführt wurden. Die Eignung der Substanzen kann nicht garantiert werden, da die tatsächlichen Verwendungsbedingungen variieren. Sämtliche Informationen in der Tabelle sind indikativ.

Gummi als Material - Vorteile
Das flexible Material bietet zahlreiche Vorteile für Planung, Betrieb und Wartung, ganz gleich, ob es sich um einen leichten Reinigungsschlauch oder eine Hochleistungsschlauchleitung für Schlämme handelt. Beispielsweise kann der Befestigungspunkt für einen Gummischlauch im Verfahren leicht fixiert werden und die kinetische Energie des geförderten Materials wird von dem Gummischlauch absorbiert.
Als flexibles Element in einer Anlage dämpft ein Gummischlauch z. B. Verschleißbewegungen oder Vibrationen von Pumpen. Darüber hinaus gleicht ein Gummischlauch Verformungen wieder aus.
Die Preise in der Preisliste sind Einzelhandelspreise und gelten nur für Lagerartikel. Die Währung ist EUR, die Mehrwertsteuer beträgt 0 % und die Preise basieren auf den Lieferbedingungen FCA Versandstelle, Incoterms 2010. Für Lieferungen gelten NL17 Allgemeine Bedingungen. Lagerartikel werden ab Lager geliefert, Zwischenverkauf vorbehalten.
Verpackung - Holzpalette oder Holzkiste
Wir liefern unsere Schläuche bis zu einem Innen-/Nenndurchmesser von 150 mm hauptsächlich aufgerollt und verpackt auf Holzpaletten (Preis 12,00 €/Stk., wird separat berechnet).
Größere Schläuche werden hauptsächlich in gerader Position in Holzkisten, auf langen Spezialholzpaletten oder in Holzkisten geliefert (Preis je nach Größe). Bitte wenden Sie sich für die korrekte Verpackung an unser Vertriebsteam.

Gerade Schläuche kommen in einer Reihe von Anwendungen zum Einsatz, z. B. in der Lebensmittel-, Chemie-, Bau-, Bergbau- und Maschinenbauindustrie.

Schlauchtoleranzen und -standards
Die Abmessungen unserer geraden Schläuche erfüllen größtenteils die Anforderungen der Norm (SFS-EN) ISO 1307. Bei spezifischeren Normen werden diese Anforderungen befolgt. Der Außendurchmesser des Schlauchs und die Toleranzen der Wanddicke werden nicht gleichzeitig erfüllt.

En général, le tube intérieur en caoutchouc des flexibles de qualité alimentaire ne laisse pas de goût ni d’odeur à la matière transférée. Par conséquent, avant l’installation initiale, les flexibles doivent être étuvés deux fois à une température de vapeur de 130 °C pour un maximum de 20 minutes à la fois, avec un refroidissement intermittent.
Une solution alternative consiste à rincer le flexible pendant 24 heures avec une solution de 4 g d’hydroxyde de sodium et de 5,8 g de sel ordinaire dans un litre d’eau à + 40 °C. Après le traitement, le flexible doit toujours être rincé à l’eau potable.
La résistance chimique des flexibles est conditionnée par de nombreux facteurs, notamment la température de service, les propriétés chimiques de la substance à transférer, la vitesse et la durée de transfert. Il est difficile de fournir des recommandations précises pour le nettoyage et la désinfection, sauf si les conditions réelles d’utilisation sont connues.

Avantages du caoutchouc en tant que matériau
En tant que matériau flexible, le caoutchouc offre divers avantages dans le secteur de l’ingénierie, que ce soit en termes d’utilisation ou de maintenance, qu’il s’agisse d’un flexible léger de nettoyage ou d’un tuyau rigide de conduite de boues. Par exemple, le point de fixation du flexible en caoutchouc peut être facilement attaché dans le processus, et l’énergie cinétique de la matière transférée est absorbée par le flexible en caoutchouc.
Le flexible en caoutchouc, un élément souple dans la construction, atténue notamment le mouvement d’usure ou les vibrations des pompes. De plus, un flexible en caoutchouc retrouve sa forme après déformation.
Les prix indiqués dans la liste de prix sont des prix de détail et ils ne s’appliquent qu’aux articles en stock. La devise est l’euro (EUR), la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée est de 0 % et les prix sont basés sur les conditions de livraison FCA point d’expédition, Incoterms 2010. Pour les livraisons, nous appliquons les Conditions générales NL17. Les articles en stock sont livrés depuis le stock, sous réserve de vente intermédiaire.
Conditionnement - palette en bois ou cage
Nous fournissons nos flexibles généralement de sorte que les flexibles jusqu’à un diamètre intérieur/nominal de 150 mm soient enroulés et conditionnés sur une palette en bois (un tarif de 12,00 €/unité est facturé séparément).
Les flexibles d’un diamètre plus large sont fournis principalement en position droite et conditionnés dans une cage en bois, sur une longue palette en bois spéciale ou dans une boîte en bois (tarification en fonction des dimensions). Veuillez contacter notre service commercial pour convenir d’un conditionnement adéquat.

Applications
Les flexibles droits sont utilisés dans diverses applications, notamment les industries alimentaire, chimique, de la construction, minière et des machines.
Nous avons réparti nos flexibles standard dans des groupes de produits selon les matières transférées et l’application finale. En outre, le client doit prêter attention à plusieurs autres aspects, notamment la pression de service, la température de service et la résistance chimique.
Flexibles et assemblages personnalisés
En plus des flexibles standard, nous fabriquons des flexibles et des assemblages de flexibles spécifiques au client. Les exigences de ces flexibles et assemblages de flexibles proviennent par exemple de la volonté du client, de l’application d’utilisation, des règlements et de la législation. Tolérances des flexibles et normes
Les dimensions de nos flexibles droits sont principalement en conformité avec les exigences de la norme (SFS-EN) ISO 1307. En cas de normes plus spécifiques, ces exigences sont suivies. Les tolérances de diamètre extérieur et d’épaisseur de paroi des flexibles ne sont pas respectées simultanément. Stockage
Pour le stockage des flexibles en caoutchouc ou pour les opérations de maintenance des flexibles en caoutchouc, nous recommandons vivement la consultation de la norme EN ISO 8331 – Tuyaux et flexibles en caoutchouc et en plastique – Lignes directrices pour la sélection, le stockage, l'utilisation et la maintenance.
