Once a coin is inserted, colored bulbs light up and circus music plays. The performers begin mimicking the robotic and cyclical movements of the automatons, enacting short actions with elements of comedy, circus, magic, song, mime, etc. Bence Sarkadi (H) (13-14 August) is a young Hungarian puppeteer, who travels the world with his solo performance since 2007. The Budapest Marionette is a unique performance which shows you the Eastern European virtue. In Cliff McLane’s Photobus (D) (12-16 August) we can take our own photo that we can share with the whole world thanks to the exciting structure of the photo booth.

This year the program will be extended with great international artists and performers as well. The small white caravan of Omnivolant (D) (11-15 August) will appear at Sziget. This performance enchants the audience with its delightful simplicity. In this show two artists combine a real coffee and candy floss stall, made out of an original Nagetusch vintage caravan with juggling, partner and air acrobatics. The audience is taken on a poetical journey – questioning our conventional daily routines! Automatarium (E) (12-16 August) is an installation inspired by the fairground attraction of coin-activated automatons constructed in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
