Team McNeeney are now in their sixth successful year at The Oxford, sporting a range of cask ales and fabulous wines alongside a dedicated gin and tonic menu. Their cheese and onion pie is famous and Tom’s chilli has grown a cult following, but whatever your tastes their menu, vegan menu and ever changing specials board have got you covered. The Healey is a family orientated pub located at the edge of Healey Dell Nature Reserve. Purveyors of Quality Food, Wine & Real Ale. Situated next to the CO-OP museum in a conservation area, The Baum has a welcoming oldie world ambience, with wooden floors and old enamel adverts. Jon Hudson has moved across town from managing The Flying Horse and is now coowner ringing in the changes at The Baum. The quality bar menu, served all day 7 days a week, consists of light lunches, traditional dishes and tapas. The Baum offers an excellent selection of world beers on draught & bottles plus ever changing guest cask ales & cider. THE ART CAFÉ

The Art Café is ideally located inside the Touchstones Museum offering both home cooked food, art and culture. Home cooked dishes include their famous burrito, fish finger butties and falafel and hummus wrap, mexican bean burger, ploughmans and much more. The cafe is child friendly with a kids corner and kids food boxes available. They use local suppliers for main dishes such as Bridge Street Butchers in Heywood. The menu varies with the seasons. They also have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. The coffee is a mix blend of Arabica and Robusta making it a strong and delightful experience. They offer afternoon tea at a reasonable price per head including home baked cakes, sandwiches and quiche. They cater for small and large parties and private functions.
