With many exciting holiday events on the horizon, we want to remind you that our reservation cancellation policy applies to larger club functions, including Easter, Mother’s Day, and winter holiday gatherings. Unlike standard dining reservations, the policy for these events, as outlined in the Club's Operating Guidelines, states:

If you're planning a holiday party or corporate gathering, our clubhouse and expert culinary team provide the perfect setting for any occasion. Whether it's a grand celebration or a more intimate affair, we'll help make your event truly memorable. Winter Golf Tip

Work on Your Muscle Memory with Heavier Clubs

Muscle memory is a term you’ll hear often in the sports world Athletes train their bodies to ‘remember’ certain motions they need to excel in their sport. Golf is no different. That great swing you finally achieved late last summer. Your body can completely forget how it worked while you’re sitting indoors all winter long. That’s where muscle memory comes in. Get out your clubs and clear a large space in your home. Work on your swing but use heavier clubs than you normally do. The body’s muscle memory works better when you’re using that extra weight.

BEERS OF THE MONTH

Avery Brewing Company, Boulder, CO

Ellie's Brown Ale

$4.50 per can

This beautiful, deep russet brew is dominated by a chocolate and brown sugar maltiness with hints of vanilla and nuts, producing a smooth, wellbalanced, and quaffable brown ale. Originally named Elle's Brown Ale after Adam Avery's beloved chocolate lab, however, one Cease and Desist letter from a certain fashion publication later, this classic American Brown Ale was renamed Ellie. Elle didn't mind. Ellie's Brown Ale has all the characteristics of its namesake; friendly, mellow, and a little nutty. As Adam's best friend, she came with him to work every day and was a steadfast companion for all his climbing adventures Elle is missed, but she lives on in this beer as the mascot on the label.

Twenty Bench Cabernet Sauvignon has a ripe black cherry core, twining with blackberry, a bit of oak on the nose, and a touch of vanilla. "There cannot be good living where there is not good drinking"
--Benjamin Franklin
