Are there food and beverage minimums?
No, Starmount Forest does not have food and beverage minimums. You can enjoy our dining facilities as much or as little as you wish without having to meet spending requirements.
Do you offer wine and beer programs?
Yes! Our Wine Club and Beer Club offer members special monthly selections, discounts on purchases, and exclusive access to tastings and special dining events throughout the year.
Is there a dress code for Bistro 59?
To maintain a comfortable dining experience for all guests, we ask that you follow these guidelines: Collared shirts are required, and we kindly ask that tshirts be saved for casual areas. Please remove hats while dining with us. Flipflops, cut-off shorts, ripped jeans, and athletic wear are not suitable for our dining area. Swimwear and beach attire should be kept to pool areas. No halter tops or overly revealing clothing.
How is tipping handled at the club?
Tipping is allowed at all dining venues, the locker room, and the bag room. Tips are not included with food and beverage purchases.
What are the guest policies?
Members can bring guests to enjoy most club facilities. Guest fees apply for golf, tennis, pickleball, and pool access. Each member may bring the same guest up to four times per year for golf. For social events, guest policies vary by event and are noted in event communications.
Can I host private events at the club?
Absolutely! Our 34,000-square-foot clubhouse offers versatile spaces for everything from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. Our events team provides comprehensive planning assistance for both personal and business events.
How active is the social calendar?
Incredibly active! Monthly highlights include Family Bingo & Pasta Nights, wine dinners, themed events like our Tropical Escape or Mad Hatter Tea Party, Final Friday gatherings with live music, trivia nights, holiday celebrations, and seasonal member appreciation events.
How do I find out about upcoming activities and events at the club?
The club's website/app serves as your comprehensive information hub, continuously updated with everything you need to know, including a club calendar. The website app is also the most convenient way to sign up for events, make a tee time, make dining reservations, etc. Each month, we publish The Starmount Focus, our newsletter. You'll also be able to stay in the loop with our weekly emails.
Does SFCC have children's programming?
Yes, Starmount Forest Country Club offers extensive children's programming year-round, including our popular summer camps, swim lessons, the competitive Starmount Stingrays swim team, junior golf programming, youth tennis and pickleball programs, Wednesday and Friday child care services, and seasonal activities designed for various age groups.
Will I be able to charge to my account?
You can conveniently charge purchases to your club account using your assigned member number. This seamless payment option is available throughout all club facilities, including the dining room, golf pro shop, and for various services and events. You will be able to review your statement each month on the website/app.
What is the application process?
To apply for membership, please submit your completed application along with a check for the first installment of your initiation fee and first month's dues to our Membership Director. Our Membership Committee and Board of Directors will review your application for approval, a process that typically takes a few weeks to complete. The application requires one sponsor signature; however, if you're new to the area and don't have a sponsor, you'll meet with the Starmount Forest Country Club Membership Committee Chair as part of the approval process.
Do you have an Ambassador Program?
Yes! Our Ambassador Program pairs you with a current member who shares your interests. Your Ambassador will contact you within one week of joining, introduce you to club activities and fellow members, and help you navigate everything Starmount offers from golf and tennis to dining and family programs. This optional but highly recommended program is designed to help you build meaningful connections and feel at home from day one.
