Welcome to the new year! We’re so excited to have you here. I have lots of ideas for ways to make this section beneficial to you in the upcoming editions, but for now let’s start things off with a few fitness facts: Did you know that starting your day off with a glass of water can help flush toxins, aid digestion, enhance skin appearance and boost your energy levels? HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is crucial in the role of muscle repair and is released while you’re sleeping. Ensuring you get enough sleep will help regulate your protein synthesis. 4 pounds of pressure is removed off of your knees for every 1 pound lost. Join us for a strength training class or step aerobics class to meet those 2024 goals. The schedule for the next couple of the months looks pretty consistent. Our Step Aerobics classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:15AM in the Fitness Center. We also have Strength Class on Wednesdays at 5:30PM in the Fitness Center and on Fridays (except February 2) at 10:30AM. Active Rest & Recovery classes are on Monday, February 12th, & February 26th at 10:00AM. Class times are subject to change so contact me via email (fitness@sulphurspringscc.com) for questions.
