Meet the Rogers: A South Dallas Basketball Dynasty Championships have become a legacy for the Rogers family. Jerome Rogers, Sr., considered by many to be the best basketball player to come out of Madison High School, won a state championship in 1997. His daughter, Endyia, one of the top point guards in the country, led Bishop Lynch to two state championships. Most recently, in March, Jerome Jr. won a state championship for his father’s alma mater, Madison. “Dad’s a great role model and student of the game,” says Jerome, Jr., a sophomore at Madison High School.

14th Annual Paul Bryson Tournament
The annual Paul “PBO” Bryson Invitational Basketball Classic, established over a decade ago in memory of one of St. Philip’s most dedicated parents and Community Center volunteers, was a tremendous success this year, raising over $2,000 in scholarship funds to support the education of children in South Dallas. 12
