Southsea Folk

“I’ve always been an anorak when it comes to crafting and I’m so incredibly lucky to have been able to turn my passion into my whole world. If I’m not in the shop chatting about fibre and yarn I’m dancing around my kitchen dyeing it! I’ve been a haberdasher for years now, but moving to Southsea has allowed me to immerse myself in this incredible and varied community of creatives that inspire me every day. Being able to talk with both experienced and new makers about their projects, and giving and receiving advice is definitely my favourite part of my job. I can’t believe I’ve been here for a whole joyful year already! It’s been a dream I hope never ends.” - Kim Hayman Instagram @southseastash 98 Marmion Road
