GOLF NEWS May is here and it will be sure to bring the summertime temperatures with it. Lions Pride Member Guest will take place Thursday, May 12 – Saturday, May 14. Please call the golf shop for assistance with your reciprocal needs. The golf course and practice facilities will be closed for aerification from Tuesday, May 31 through Friday, June 10. The golf shop will be open limited hours from 8am – 3pm to assist you with reciprocals, picking up your golf bag and access to the golf shop. Congratulations to our Club Champion Aaron Fitzpatrick who carded a 54-hole total of 3 under par 213. Aaron shot rounds of 71, 70, & 72 to capture his first club championship. Conditions were tough as the wind picked up throughout the day all three
rounds, well played Aaron! Winning the Ladies Club Championship was defending champion Emma Joost with a 36-hole total of 164. Shar Donovan took the ladies net division with a 36-hole total 144. Dean Scott provided a stellar second round score to jump the leaderboard carding a 139 36-hole total in the men’s net division. Tommy Donovan Jr. also came back with a second-round score of 73 carding a 36-hole total of 150 to take the men’s blue gross championship. John Pomroy won on an exciting first hole playoff carding a 36-hole total of 152 to take the men’s gold gross championship.
