FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Fellow members,

Welcome to the Spring/Summer 2022 at SJCC! From the upcoming Pool Cats competitions to an evening outside at the Donald Ross Terrace, to the multiple golf offerings for our ladies and gentlemen, I hope that all our members and their families have been enjoying the myriad of experiences this Spring.

With several new projects underway, we are accelerating our strategic planning efforts and expect to be bringing soon to the membership some very exciting plans for capital improvements. We understand that while we accomplished some of our goals with the completion of the Clubhouse renovation, we understand that other areas of our facility are aging and we need to invest prudently in the future of our club. We have our recent membership survey, and a new Capital Reserve Study to build on; we look forward to engaging in a Master plan to consider capital improvement options that are available to us. increase in all departments. San Jose was proud to host another successful Club Championship Golf Tournament in April, congratulations to our Club Champions, Aaron Fitzpatrick and Emma Joost! We were also able to engage in another tradition for the first-time post-pandemic; our Tennis Member-Guest was re-invigorated with over 500 attendees and continues to be a testament to some of the best tennis programming in our city.

We look forward to our Social & Entertainment committee, in conjunction with our professional staff, to continue the path of engaging events in celebration of our 75th Anniversary. The Pool season is just around the corner, and you will see a new service experience enhancement that will keep the good times rolling throughout the Summer.
