POSTLUDE

We’re so glad you’ve chosen to spend this time with us! SecondPonce is a community of Christ-followers from all walks of life who desire a personal relationship with God. We'd love to learn about you and share some ways you might plug in to a small group or mission opportunity. Consider doing the following: STOP BY OUR WELCOME TABLE Our Welcome Table sits in the corner of the Sanctuary lobby (the Narthex). We have a brief packet of information and free gifts of appreciation for your visit with us.

Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. During the Sunday morning worship service, we provide the opportunity to join the church during the Hymn of Response. At any time during the song, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our senior pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.

WELCOME NEWCOMERS

HOW TO JOIN

Nothing in my hands I bring, Simply to Thy cross I cling; Naked, come to Thee for dress, Helpless, look to Thee for grace: Foul, I to the fountain fly, Wash me, Savior, or I die.

For All The Saints (Sine Nomine)

DON’T BE A STRANGER We meet for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. each Sunday. We share Fellowship Supper Wednesdays at 5 p.m. followed by activities for children, youth & adults. Throughout the week there are Bible studies, choir rehearsals, special events, guest speakers and more.

Not the labor of my hands Can fulfill Thy law’s demands; Could my zeal no respite know, Could my tears forever flow, All could never sin erase, Thou must save, and save by grace.

While I draw this fleeting breath, When mine eyes shall close in death, When I soar to worlds unknown, See Thee on Thy judgment throne, Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee.

Hebrews 13:1–8; 15–16 (New Testament p. 979)

DIX

Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee; Let the water and the blood, From Thy riven side which flowed, Be of sin the double cure, Save me from its guilt and power.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us; but if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

PASTORAL PRAYER

SCRIPTURE

Most merciful God, We confess that we have sinned against you In thought, word, and deed, By what we have done, And by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, Have mercy on us and forgive us; That we may delight in your will, And walk in your ways, To the glory of your Name. Amen.
