It's a great day to worship
we're glad you're here!
Here's some additional information you may find helpful today.
REQUESTING MORE INFO
Green Pew Card Use it to share as much information as you like and drop it in the offering plate. We understand that some people are hesitant to fill out church cards. It's true—a member of our pastoral staff will reach out, but you won't be flooded with communication. Engagement with us will be at your own pace. Complete it online at spdl.org/connectcard.
FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND
Restrooms & Water There are restrooms on each floor of the church. Bathrooms with changing tables are on the third floor down from the Fellowship Hall. Restrooms closest to the Sanctuary are near the church office. Water fountains are by the restrooms on each floor.
Emergency Care & First Aid Greeters and Bible study leaders can help you receive first aid before worship. If you need help during the service, see one of our uniformed officers just outside of the Sanctuary.
CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP
You may take your children (newborn–5th grade) to the Kids Club before the service or, if you prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for the entire hour or until the Doxology when kids leave with children's ministry leaders (unless otherwise stated in the Order of Worship). After the service, pick them up in the Kids Club.

JOINING THE CHURCH
Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where a member of our ministry team will greet you to begin the process. If you're uncomfortable being in the spotlight, that's ok! Speak with one of our ministers after worship and they'll walk you through an alternate plan.

SUMMER OF STRENGTHS
Target start date: June 1
During the “Summer of Strengths,” we’ll unpack what we’ve learned from the Clifton Strengths assessment and practice applying it in our lives. After taking the assessment, group members will meet 3-4 times over the summer (depending on how many participants sign up) to discuss what they are learning and how they are growing into their God-given talents and gifts. A day/time for our Zoom meetings will be chosen by those who commit to participating. If you’ve already taken the assessment, you’re all ready to start. Contact Karen Harwell (kharwell@spdl.org) for more information and to sign up.

Growing in Christ and community–sharing God's love in the world.
He called the crowd with His disciples and said to them, “If any wish to come after Me, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for My sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it. For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? Indeed, what can they give in return for their life?
-Mark 8:34–37
