SCRIPTURE

Psalm 130

Bill Gabbard

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem. It is he who will redeem Israel from all its iniquities. Welcome to Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We meet for worship Sundays at 11 a.m. in our beautiful Sanctuary. We also host a contemporary online worship service at 4 p.m. called All Together. You can stream it on our Facebook page or at www.livestream.com/spdl. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies and each Wednesday, we hold a churchwide prayer call. We truly have something for everyone here at Second-Ponce. Our greeters and ministers love the opportunity to connect you with a small group or other opportunities to carry out your ministry passions.

HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our senior pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy. At our big regathering bash on August 22, we'll honor all new members who joined during the pandemic with a greeting line and the usual fanfare worthy of you joining the Second-Ponce family.

HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a prayer card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate located in the Narthex or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.

GIVING TO SECOND-PONCE Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. We're grateful for your faithfulness to give as you are able. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate located in the Narthex after the service.
