Welcome to worship at Second-Ponce! You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We truly have something for everyone, and not just on Sundays. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies. Each Wednesday evening, we have Fellowship Supper, an adult discipleship study and age-appropriate activities for children and teens. Now that you know a little about us, help us get to know you better by completing the blue or green card located in the pew rack. Simply hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate.

LEADING OUR WORSHIP SERVICE Ernesto Lima Parets, our music intern, has served at SPdL since January of 2021. He is a graduate student in choral conducting at Georgia State. He came to the US from his native Cuba in late 2020, after receiving his music degree from Cuba's national university. Ernesto is a gifted conductor, composer, arranger and percussionist. Several years ago, he traveled to the US while still a student, conducting a jazz orchestra which received much acclaim. We are blessed by Ernesto's dedicated service to our music ministry and blessed to welcome him this morning! LEADING OUR OFFERTORY PRAYER Duncan Harle, a member of Second Ponce for over eighteen years, serves as the Chair of the Board of Deacons. He teaches in the Bridge Builders Sunday School class, has served on the lay leadership Reorganization Task Force and has periodically run a camera for the TV Ministry. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Sharon, and their daughter, Maria, as well as reading and working out in the gym. As a lawyer, he represents injured people here in Atlanta. The flowers in the Sanctuary are given in gratitude for REV. MATT DUVALL as we honor his faithful service to our pulpit during Dock's sabbatical.
HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our Senior Pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
ADDITIONAL SUNDAY INFORMATION CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP We love to see children at Second-Ponce, and we have a Kids’ Club area just for them! It's one floor up from the Sanctuary, and our greeters will be happy to show you the way. In the Kids' Club, there’s a nursery for babies through pre-K and Kids Worship for children K through 5th grade. You can take your children to Kids Worship before the service or, if you’d prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for either the entire hour or until the Doxology and then go with our children's ministry leaders. You'll pick them up in the Kids’ Club area after worship. SHARING PRAYER REQUESTS At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. Let us know how by filling out a prayer request on the back of the pew rack card. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the SecondPonce ministerial staff after worship. GIVING AN OFFERING Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate.
