Almighty God, so many of King David’s psalms show a heart out of tune— sighing, crying and breaking with sorrow—yet still clinging to faith in You. So too, O Lord, are our hearts. In Jesus Christ, You have given us what we need most: His cross makes our forgiveness possible, and His Spirit tunes our hearts again to sing Your praises. Humbly we beg Your pardon for our sins. LEADING OUR OFFERTORY PRAYER Lynn Handley has been a member of Second-Ponce for almost 28 years and is an active member of the Deacons, Sanctuary Choir and Sounds of Faith ensemble. She has taught many years in children's Sunday School and has worked with the Miami mission team creating libraries at both the Homestead and Overtown Touching Miami with Love sites. Lynn is currently a librarian at Whitefield Academy and has served in public and private schools for over 40 years.

Matt DuVall is currently the Director of Development for Mercer’s McAfee School of Theology. A native of Cordele, GA, Matt is a graduate of Mercer University (’01) and the McAfee School of Theology (’04). Matt has served the church in the areas of student ministry and missions and has pastored churches in Kentucky and Georgia, most recently in Rome. Matt is married to Caroline, a nurse practitioner, and they have two fiercely independent daughters who keep them on their toes. Matt's favorite things to do are cook, eat and travel.
The flowers in the Sanctuary are given in loving celebration of Rev. John Uldrick on his first Sunday as our new Associate Pastor. We excitedly welcome his family and his ministry into our church community.

WE LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE Welcome to worship at Second-Ponce! You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We truly have something for everyone, and not just on Sundays. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies. Each Wednesday evening, we have Fellowship Supper, an adult discipleship study and age-appropriate activities for children and teens. Now that you know a little about us, help us get to know you better by completing the blue or green card located in the pew rack. Simply hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate.
HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our Senior Pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
ADDITIONAL SUNDAY INFORMATION CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP We love to see children at Second-Ponce, and we have a Kids’ Club area just for them! It's one floor up from the Sanctuary, and our greeters will be happy to show you the way. In the Kids' Club, there’s a nursery for babies through pre-K and Kids Worship for children K through 5th grade. You can take your children to Kids Worship before the service or, if you’d prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for either the entire hour or until the Doxology and then go with our children's ministry leaders. You'll pick them up in the Kids’ Club area after worship. SHARING PRAYER REQUESTS At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. Let us know how by filling out a prayer request on the back of the pew rack card. You can drop it in the offering plate located in the Narthex or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship. GIVING AN OFFERING Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate.
