WELCOME AND INVOCATION
Dr. Joshua Scott
THE LORD'S PRAYER Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever. Amen. CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
Bill Gabbard
O Lord our God, you have searched us and known us. You know not only what we say, but also what we think. You know not only what we say, but also what we almost said. You know how quickly our thoughts rise to praise ourselves because we are welloff or good-looking or healthy or smart, boasting of your gifts as if they were our accomplishments. You know how slowly our thoughts sink to accuse ourselves even when we have turned our backs on you, fascinating ourselves with alien gods whose calling we heed while ignoring your own. Quickly boasting, slowly accusing, truly we need to repent. O God, forgive, correct, and heal us through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. ASSURANCE OF PARDON (from Micah 7)

Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of your possession? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in showing clemency. He will again have compassion upon us; he will tread our iniquities under foot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will show faithfulness to Jacob and unswerving loyalty to Abraham, as you have sworn to our ancestors from the days of old. CHILDREN'S SERMON

Allie Osborne
The flowers on the Communion Table are given in honor of Allie Osborne on the day of her ordination to the Gospel ministry. Second-Ponce celebrates Allie as she faithfully answers God's call.
LEADING OUR OFFERTORY PRAYER Pauline Allison and her husband Ben have been members at Second-Ponce for almost 20 years, often serving "behind the scenes." Pauline heads up the preparations for the Lord’s Supper elements, is a recorder for the Open Door Sunday School class and has served as a part of the flower ministry. She enjoys being with people and hearing their stories and loves a good project.
WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE Welcome to Second-Ponce! You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We meet for worship Sundays at 11 a.m. in our beautiful Sanctuary, but if you can't be with us in person, we invite you to watch online on our Facebook page or at www.livestream.com/spdl. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies and each Wednesday, we hold a churchwide prayer call, an adult discipleship study and age-appropriate activities for children and teens. We truly have something for everyone here at Second-Ponce. Help us get to know you better by completing a Welcome Card located in the pew rack. Simply hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate.
HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a Prayer Card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate located in the Narthex or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.
HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our Senior Pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
