Psalm 5:7–12
Bill Gabbard
But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house, I will bow down toward your holy temple in awe of you. Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me. For there is no truth in their mouths; their hearts are destruction; their throats are open graves; they flatter with their tongues. Make them bear their guilt, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; because of their many transgressions cast them out, for they have rebelled against you. But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; Let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, so that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield. HYMN NO. 496

BENEDICTION POSTLUDE
WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE Welcome to Second-Ponce! You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We meet for worship Sundays at 11 a.m. in our beautiful Sanctuary, but if you can't be with us in person, we invite you to watch online on our Facebook page or at www.livestream.com/spdl. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies and each Wednesday, we hold a churchwide prayer call, an adult discipleship study and age-appropriate activities for children and teens. We truly have something for everyone here at Second-Ponce. Help us get to know you better by completing a Connect card located in the pew rack. Simply hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate as you leave.
HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our Senior Pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? And Can It Be

At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a prayer card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate located in the Narthex or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.
LEADING OUR OFFERTORY PRAYER Anne Marie Alexander is currently a Deacon and part of the Open Door Sunday School class. She prays bi-weekly with a small Zoom-based group for the ministries of Second-Ponce. Anne Marie also coordinates the church's greeter ministry and she appreciates all the faithful greeters who so lovingly volunteer their time to this ministry.
GIVING TO SECOND-PONCE Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. We're grateful for your faithfulness to give as you are able. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate located in the Narthex after the service.
