DOXOLOGY (HYMN NO. 706) Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow

SCRIPTURE

Leader: Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock! Congregation: You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh. Leader: Stir up Your might, and come to save us! Congregation: Restore us, O God; let Your face shine, that we may be saved. O Lord God of hosts, how long will You be angry with Your people's prayers? Leader: You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in full measure. Congregation: You make us the scorn of our neighbors; our enemies laugh among themselves.

Congregation: But let Your hand be upon the one at Your right hand, the one whom You made strong for Yourself. Then we will never turn back from You; Leader: Give us life, and we will call on your name.

Karol Stephens

Karol Stephens, a member since 2012, sings in our Sanctuary Choir and volunteers for various church ministries. She worked in Georgia public education for 30 years as a high school science teacher and curriculum director. Upon retirement from education, she began a new career providing science materials to K–12 schools and community and technical colleges in four states. A parent of three adult children, Karol worked for more than 35 years as a part-time retail buyer for her family's department store. When not traveling for work, she spends time gardening, sewing, watching the wildlife in her yard and with her children.

WE LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE Welcome to worship at Second-Ponce! You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We truly have something for everyone, and not just on Sundays. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies. Each Wednesday evening, we have Fellowship Supper, an adult discipleship study and age-appropriate activities for children and teens. Now that you know a little about us, help us get to know you better by completing the blue or green card located in the pew rack. Simply hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate. HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our Senior Pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.

ADDITIONAL SUNDAY INFORMATION CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP We love to see children at Second-Ponce, and we have a Kids’ Club area just for them! It's one floor up from the Sanctuary, and our greeters will be happy to show you the way. In the Kids' Club, there’s a nursery for babies through pre-K and Kids Worship for children K through 5th grade. You can take your children to Kids Worship before the service or, if you’d prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for either the entire hour or until the Doxology and then go with our children's ministry leaders. You'll pick them up in the Kids’ Club area after worship. SHARING PRAYER REQUESTS At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. Let us know by filling out a prayer request card located on the back of the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the SecondPonce ministerial staff after worship. GIVING AN OFFERING Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate.
