HYMN OF RESPONSE NO. 210 I Know That My Redeemer Lives OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENGAGEMENT
SPEAK, O LORD Dr. Hollingsworth DUKE STREET
Dr. Hollingsworth
He breaks the power of cancelled sin, He sets the prisoner free; His blood can make the foulest clean; His blood availed for me. Anthem: Blessing, Honor, Glory and Power (Robert J Powell; Text by Horatius Bonar, 1808-1889) Blessing, honor, glory and power, Wisdom, strength forevermore, give to Him who our battle has won, His the Kingdom, the crown, the throne. The light of glory dwells with Him, The light of glory grows not dim, Light in its silence, beauty and calm, Light in its gladness, brightness, and balm. Now ascends the song and the joy, now descends the love from on high, blessing, honor, glory and praise this the theme of the hymns we raise. Life of all life, true Light of light, Star of the dawning, ever bright, Sing we the song of the Lamb that was slain, Dying, but rising to reign.
WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE Welcome to Second-Ponce! You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We meet for worship Sundays at 11 a.m. in our beautiful Sanctuary and host a contemporary online worship service at 2 p.m. called All Together. You can stream them both on our Facebook page or at www.livestream.com/spdl. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies and each Wednesday, we hold a churchwide prayer call and an adult discipleship study we call SPdLU (Second-Ponce de Leon University). We truly have something for everyone here at Second-Ponce. Help us get to know you better by completing a Connect card located in the pew rack. Simply hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate as you leave.
HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our Senior Pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a prayer card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate located in the Narthex or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.
GIVING TO SECOND-PONCE Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. We're grateful for your faithfulness to give as you are able. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate located in the Narthex after the service.
