Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye Heavenly host; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

HYMN NO. 566 Rev. Scott

SCRIPTURE

Gracious God, Our sins are too heavy to carry, too real to hide and too deep to undo. Forgive what our lips tremble to name, what our hearts can no longer bear and what has become for us a consuming fire of judgment. Set us free from a past that we cannot change; open to us a future in which we can be changed; and grant us grace to grow more and more in your likeness and image; through Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

HYMN OF RESPONSE NO. 667 As Saints Of Old Their First Fruits Brought

ASSURANCE OF PARDON Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of your possession? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in showing clemency. He will again have compassion upon us; he will tread our iniquities under foot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will show faithfulness to Jacob and unswerving loyalty to Abraham, as you have sworn to our ancestors from the days of old.

HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a prayer card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.

We’re so glad you’ve chosen to spend this time with us! Second-Ponce is a community of Christ-followers from all walks of life who desire a personal relationship with God. We'd love to learn about you and share some ways you might plug in to a small group or mission opportunity. Consider doing the following: STOP BY OUR WELCOME TABLE Our Welcome Table sits in the corner of the Sanctuary lobby (the Narthex). We have a brief packet of information and free gifts of appreciation for your visit with us.

DON’T BE A STRANGER We meet for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. each Sunday. We share Fellowship Supper Wednesdays at 5 p.m. followed by activities for children, youth & adults. Throughout the week there are Bible studies, choir rehearsals, special events, guest speakers and more.

HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. During the Sunday morning worship service, we provide the opportunity to join the church during the Hymn of Response. At any time during the song, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our senior pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
