Leader: Returning Deacons and new candidates, the church has recognized in you the gifts of service and leadership. Having been elected by this congregation to this term of Deacon leadership, do you commit yourself to faithful service in the name of Christ and as a representative of Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church?

Leader: He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox.

Leader: May the God who calls and holds us bless the service of these Deacons and this congregation as we bear witness to Christ’s love.
