Therefore let all who are faithful offer prayer to you; at a time of distress, the rush of mighty waters shall not reach them. You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with glad cries of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Do not be like a horse or a mule, without understanding, whose temper must be curbed with bit and bridle, else it will not stay near you. Many are the torments of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart. HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a prayer card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.

WORSHIP OF GOD
WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE If you haven't already, visit our welcome table located in the lobby of the Sanctuary (also called the Narthex). There, you'll find information about the church and friendly members ready to answer your questions. We hope you'll come back. We meet for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and offer two worship opportunities: A traditional service in our Sanctuary at 11 a.m. and a contemporary service called All Together in our SPdL Theater at 4 p.m. We share Fellowship Supper Wednesdays at 5 p.m. followed by activities for children, youth & adults. During the week there are Bible studies, special events, guest speakers and more.
HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. During the Sunday morning worship service, we provide the opportunity to join the church during the Hymn of Response. At any time during the song, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our senior pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
