Deacons: I do. Leader: Members of this congregation, do you commit your support to these brothers and sisters whom you have set aside for Deacon service? The flowers on the Communion Table are given in loving memory of Mabel Ann Nicholson. They are given by June Keller.

HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a prayer card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.

WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE If you haven't already, visit our welcome table located in the lobby of the Sanctuary (also called the Narthex). There, you'll find information about the church and friendly members ready to answer your questions. We hope you'll come back. We meet for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and offer two worship opportunities: A traditional service in our Sanctuary at 11 a.m. and a contemporary service called All Together in our SPdL Theater at 4 p.m. We share Fellowship Supper Wednesdays at 5 p.m. followed by activities for children, youth & adults. During the week there are Bible studies, special events, guest speakers and more.

HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. During the Sunday morning worship service, we provide the opportunity to join the church during the Hymn of Response. At any time during the song, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our senior pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.

LEADING OUR OFFERTORY PRAYER David Anderson and his wife, Ivy, have been active members of Second-Ponce for over 40 years. David will be serving as this year's Vice-Chair of our Board of Deacons. Actively involved in the church choir and various committees, he has previously served as Chairman of the Board of Deacons, on the Stewardship, PLanned Gifts, Finance, Personnel and Ridgecrest Lodge committees and as Sunday School Director. David and Ivy have two grown children, Whitney and Clay.
