Despite the continued "Stay At Home" order, the amount of new listings in each community was about even. All districts except Glen Cove had a total of 10 or 11 new properties on the market in April.
Through digital efforts, virtual tours and marketing, the real estate business has still been able to execute successful closings in April. North Shore with the most at 9 homes sold and Glen Cove right behind with 8 sales.
In April, the minimum & maximum average sale price remained within $500k $1.2 million. The North Shore district had the steepest price drop, from an average of $1.3 million in March to $950,000 in April.

NOSH Local group responding to crisis by providing support to the food insecure. As the Coronavirus and "Stay At Home" order continues, more and more people are finding that they do not have the means to support their families. NOSH is a local organization in Glen Cove comprised of volunteers and restaurants in the North Shore area who are providing groceries and food to those who are in need. One of our very own agents, Mary Ellen Cuomo (pictured), has been supporting the group since the pandemic began in March. Their efforts have been highlighted on primetime TV by Hoda from the NBC Network and their GoFundMe Page has surpassed their donation goal of $5,000.
