In comparison with last year's market, there has been a decline in new inventory for the area. North Shore had the least amount of new homes on the market with only 8 new listings added.
Despite the inventory decline, December was a huge month for closings in the surrounding areas. The North Shore district had the largest amount of sales this months with a total of 32 homes sold.
Average prices were maintained for the most part from November. Both the North Shore & Glen Cove districts averages remained under $1M in price. Locust Valley had the highest average price at about $1.3M.
