New inventory took a decline in January for most districts in the area. However, Roslyn had the most amount of new homes on the market with 27 houses listed.

The North Shore market was a hot spot for closings in January. 26 homes were sold within Sea Cliff, Glen Head, Glenwood Landing & Old Brookville, which was double the amount of closings in the other districts.

Average prices remained the same throughout January in all of the local areas. Locust Valley had the priciest sales with an average of almost $1.5 million. North Shore & Glen Cove's averages still fell under the $1 million mark.
