As the year comes to a close, the total of new listings begins to drop as it does each year. Glen Cove had the most amount of new listings in November with 26 new homes on the market.
All districts maintained a fair amount of closings in November. North Shore, Glen Cove & Locust Valley each had over 20 homes sold. Oyster Bay & Roslyn had a slight decrease in closings from the previous month.
Average prices in all of the districts dropped below $1 million in November except for the town of Roslyn, which had an average sale price of $1.3 million. Prices have shown steady decline in the area since October.
