RUNNING, RESILIENCE, AND FUN

SEPTEMBER 2025 K12 CAMPUS

INTER-SCHOOL ATHLETICS MEET

Our Ruh’lers enthusiastically participated in the Inter-school Athletics Meet, bringing immense energy, determination, and excitement to the track.

CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENT

The learners took part in various running competitions, each event highlighting not only their athletic abilities but also their commitment to giving their very best.

FUN FACT

The 100-meter sprint, one of the most popular track events, is often referred to as the “blue-ribbon event” of athletics because it determines the fastest runner on the track!

SPORTSMANSHIP

It was truly a proud moment to witness their sporting spirit in action, as they cheered for one another, encouraged their peers, and celebrated every effort with equal joy It became an opportunity for learners to experience the values of discipline, perseverance, and resilience that are deeply embedded in sports

PRIDE OF ACHIEVEMENT

The joy of participation, the lessons learned from challenges, and the pride of achievement all came together to make the day memorable. By embracing fitness, fun, and teamwork, our learners demonstrated that sports are not only about winning but also about celebrating healthy competition and building lasting confidence.

GRADE 5 LEARNERS DEBATE REAL-WORLD ISSUES

Role-playing activities like this are used by governments and organizations around the world to help people practice decision-making, understand different perspectives, and solve complex problems just like your learners did!

A DAY OF CURIOSITY AND FUN IN EARLY YEARS

Playing games like Red Light, Green Light helps children strengthen not just their listening skills, but also their selfcontrol and ability to follow instructions skills that scientists say are important for lifelong learning!

GRADE 2 LEARNERS TRAVEL THE WORLD THROUGH FESTIVALS

The celebration highlighted the traditions of five countries: Japan, India, Brazil, Egypt, and China Each learner prepared a “passport” and shared their research on the customs, celebrations, and unique cultural practices of their assigned country

Some festivals celebrate similar themes around the world! For example, while Diwali in India celebrates the victory of light over darkness, Chinese New Year also emphasizes family, new beginnings, and lighting lanterns to welcome good fortune.

A NEW BEGINNING: ROTARY INTERACT CLUB

INSTALLATION CEREMONY

Rotary Interact Clubs are for students aged 12–18 and are present in over 150 countries worldwide. They give young leaders the chance to develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and connect with like-minded peers globally!

RUH’LERS SHINE IN BASKETBALL AND YOGA COMPETITIONS

Asmitha of Grade 9 was recognised for her outstanding performance with the Best Player award, and we are also proud to celebrate our AFS student, Caterina, who won her very first trophy in India

Participating in both team sports helps learners develop not only physical strength and coordination but also focus, discipline, and teamwork skills that are valuable both on and off the field

EXPLORING THE MAGIC OF BOOKS AND STORIES

They participated enthusiastically in Roll the Dice, Roll a Story, constructing imaginative narratives together, and explored a variety of sounds through playful activities that strengthened their phonemic awareness.

Research shows that listening to stories and engaging in creative storytelling activities helps young learners improve vocabulary, imagination, and social skills all while making learning fun!
