All Roselle Racer swimmers will be required to purchase a Kemmerling Pool Pass.
Roselle Racers Swim Team (MW) Ages 5-18
Calling all swimmers…new and returning are invited to join the Roselle Racers Swim Team for a fun filled summer at the Kemmerling Pool! The Roselle Racers are a member of the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference. Swimmers ages 8 & under must be able to swim two lengths (50 yards) of the pool without stopping; ages 9 & up must be able to swim four lengths (100 yards). Swimmers compete against individuals in their own age group.Practices are scheduled for Monday-Thursday mornings from 6:45-8:45am and Tuesday/Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm. The first practice is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 6. Registration Deadline: June 3, 2022
Swim Registration & Parent Info Night (MW) Monday, May 2
Members of the swim team parent club will be present to provide information and answer questions. In addition, swim team suits and other attire will be available for viewing, fitting and ordering. Perfect for new Racer families! Head Coach, Tim Layer, will be present to meet all the new and returning team members of the Roselle Racers. Junior Racers (MW) Ages 5-10
Are you interested in joining swim team, but not quite ready to be a Roselle Racer? Then Junior Racers is for you! This program is a great way for new competitive swimmers to dip their toes in and develop their skills and confidence. Swimmers will attend practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm and have an opportunity to compete in a few exhibition races throughout the season. Swim Team New Swimmer Evaluation Swimmers will be evaluated during the first week of practice and placed in appropriate groups based on age and skill level. Swimmers 8 years and under must be able to swim 50 yards and have basic knowledge of the four strokes (free, back, breast, butterfly). Swimmers 9 and up must be able to swim 100 yards and have basic knowledge of all four strokes (free, back, breast, butterfly).
Roselle Racers Swim Closing Swim meets are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. A detailed meet schedule will be available at Parent Info Night.
