The Wood Dale Park District operates this unique venue at the former home of TopGolf Wood Dale. It has 76 golf bays with TopTracer Technology, which tracks a variety of metrics like distance, speed, and location. Chicago School of Golf

Chicago School of Golf “CSOG” was founded in 2014 and uses an organized systematic approach that encompasses not just teaching the swing but teaching the game. CSOG’s vision is to “Propel a lifelong rewarding passion for golf.” CSOG will be running a variety of golf lesson programs, ranging from Ages 5-Adult, and ranging from one hour per week, to single day adult “Grip It and Sip It” clinics, to weekly Youth Golf Camps that are 3 hours per day, 4-5 days per week.

Adult Beginner Class

Ages 16+

This class is geared towards beginners who have never pick up a club, or those who would like to fine tune or review golf’s basic necessary skills. We will work on golf’s important fundamentals- grip, setup, stance, and the basic motor skills need to produce a good golf swing. We will also discuss important swing techniques, pre-shot routine, course management, and pre-round preparation. Clubs will be provided for class if you do not have any.

Adult Grip it & Sip it Clinics

Ages 21+

These clinics are for beginner golfers who have little to no experience and are trying to improve their skills, or for those who just need a refresher. These 1-hour clinics will help you sharpen your skills in all areas of your game. Choose as many clinics as you would like.

Beginner Junior Golf Class

Ages 7-13

This class is geared towards beginners who have never pick up a club, or those who would like to fine tune or review golf’s basic necessary skills. We start the program using easy to use SNAG golf which introduces oversize clubs and ball to learn with. We work on the fundamentals of golf-grip, setup, stance, and the basic motor skills needed to produce a good golf swing. Each student will receive a golf related gift for participations.

Junior Golf Class

Ages 7-13

This class is geared to those who have taken our beginner junior class or have some previous golf experience. In this class we will discuss the importance of grip, setup, stance, and alignment with all shots. We discuss the full swing a little more in-depth, along with some more advanced putting and chipping instruction. We will also discuss the importance of golf course safety and etiquette, as well as two on-course instructional lessons.

Let’s Go Golfing Junior Golf Class

Ages 7-15

This class is geared toward those who have successfully completed a beginner’s golf class. This is designed for those who want to continue to work on their game and take it to the next level. All four classes will focus on on-course instructional lessons. In addition to working on full-swing and short-game fundamentals, we will discuss the importance of rules, safety, and etiquette on the course. We will also discuss course strategy and managing your game on the course.

The Bloomingdale Golf Club

Intro to SNAG Golf (DD) Ages 5-8

SNAG stands for Starting New At Golf. The SNAG program uses modified equipment specifically designed for beginning players to help facilitate learning the basics of the game. The instructor has been trained in SNAG teaching concepts, proper equipment usage and managing a golf session with young children.
