FROM THE DESK OF A. BEYEL Dear Members, As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, I want to thank our RCC staff for doing an amazing job of keeping us all safe, and at the same time, delivering a great member experience. I also appreciate our membership for adapting to the new environment and accepting the guidelines we have put in place at the club to minimize risk to members, guests, vendors, and staff. In our continued effort to reduce touch points, we will continue to follow safety guidelines by not placing water stations on the course. You may bring your own tumblers and we will provide you with as much ice and water as needed to help you hydrate. August was a busy month golf-wise with increased rounds played compared to previous summers. The course is being exposed to many first timers which has led to more memberships and repeat players. The course has been in great shape this summer and hats off to the course maintenance staff. Come celebrate Labor Day with a golf event and BBQ Lunch to follow on Monday, September 7th. Play will commence with an 8:30 AM shotgun start. Posters will be displayed throughout the club, and a sign-up sheet is in the Golf Shop. In closing, a big thank you goes out to all of you who continue to promote the club to family, friends and co-workers. It is our biggest opportunity for membership growth and member engagement. From the Pro Dear Members and Guests, Wow, it has been HOT this summer. August in Florida! The only good part of the heat is the ability to grow grass. The course is in fantastic shape! Our membership has been growing quickly! Please feel free to stop in and see me or call with any questions you may have about your membership. We are excited to be working on a new member portal on our website for tee times and bill paying. I have had several questions regarding availability of tee times and when booking is allowed. We are no longer able to accommodate standing tee times. This helps us better manage the tee sheet for everyone’s benefit. Here are the booking windows: Gold Members – 14 days, Silver Members – 10 days, Bronze Members – 7 days, Associate Members – 5 days, Guests – 2 days Groups that have more than 8 players on a regular basis may request a set time, but in fairness to other players let us know a few days in advance if you expect a smaller group. I look forward to seeing you all!

Food and Beverage Dear Members, This year as the RCC Team, we have had to pivot to provide you with a safe experience, and an environment to socialize during this challenging time. We know that you are looking forward to getting back to the camaraderie of organized social events and activity. Our team looks forward as well to provide increasing opportunities for these safe experiences. RCC is well positioned to welcome new members who value the same club experiences that you do. We can not wait until we can produce more memorable experiences for you! We have developed an updated year end Events Calendar and will be published soon! Our Annual Labor Day Golf and BBQ Scramble will be Monday, September 7th!

On the Course The summer season has arrived in earnest, and the customary weather patterns will be with us for awhile. A large part of those weather patterns is the huge amount of lightning that goes hand in hand with our afternoon rains. I would like to remind all golfers of a very important issue facing our beautiful course. It is very important for all golfers to repair their ball marks. In addition to your own ball marks, if you notice an unrepaired mark that you did not create, please consider fixing it as well. In addition please continue to follow the cart directional signs and remember to always be cautious when the course is wet from the summer rain. Our Maintenance crew works very hard each day to provide us with the finest possible playing conditions for our members and guests. Yours in Turf,

Bookkeeping Dear members, There are some changes you may notice as we implement our new accounting software. One of the bigger projects going on right now is the process of reviewing and updating all membershipinformation. Our policy is to have a credit card on file with any membership. To get our files up to date we may be reaching out to you if you somehow do not have a current active credit card on file. Also, if you have not already and would like to take advantage of our auto billing convenience, please contact Jeff Turner to get signed up. This is a good opportunity to remind all our members that membership is billed and due upon receipt on the 1st of the month. Auto payments are set on the 10th. If payments are not received by the 15th of that month a late of $25 will be charged to your account. Charging privileges may be inactivated until the account is brought up to date. I want to make everyone aware that if any membership becomes delinquent you risk membership being suspended.
