Every day at Ridgeview, we are here to ensure every moment counts for our patients and their families. And now, we need your help to make this moment count.

Invest in Ridgeview’s future and leave a lasting legacy. You can ensure that patients fighting cancer, heart disease, lung diseases and diabetes will get the care they need close to home, always.

People tell us how easy it is to establish an endowment fund at Ridgeview.

Endowments can be created with a minimum of $25,000 payable over five years or through a future gift from your estate.

Our staff will help you establish guidelines for your endowment so your wishes and Ridgeview’s needs align. Endowments can be personalized to recognize the unique interests and intent of each gift. You may also take the opportunity to name the endowment after you, or in honor of your family or someone special.

Once an endowment is established, a portion of the investment income is available for spending, while the remainder is added to principal to grow the fund over time and safeguard against inflation in accordance with Ridgeview Foundation policy.

Much as a family would build up savings to buffer against financial hardship, the endowment is Ridgeview’s security for the future.

An endowment fund is like a permanent savings account.

The principal of the original contribution is never spent—only a portion of its earnings is annually allocated for the purpose of the endowment. The remaining amount of the fund’s earned income is reinvested to ensure future financial growth.

Q: What is Ridgeview Foundation’s distribution timing?

A: The historical principal and the investment return will be calculated on or about December 31 on a year-by-year basis. Endowment distributions will be based upon the annual calculation. Ridgeview Foundation’s Finance Committee may request receipt of the distribution either annually, semi-annually or quarterly. If the request is semi-annually or quarterly, Ridgeview will receive a proportionate share of the distribution; the remainder will be invested in a money market until such time that it has been fully disbursed.
